Quinta do Algarvio

At Quinta do Algarvio you live in bright, well-proportioned, spacious townhouse apartments with modern, tasteful furniture and beautiful decoration on two levels (there are also a limited number of single-storey apartments with 1 or 2 bedrooms). On the ground floor you have a very well-equipped open kitchen with dining area, large living room, toilet and private patio facing the pool area with an heated swimming pool year around. Upstairs there are two bright, spacious bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, one with shower/bath and one with shower.

High-efficiency air conditioning is installed which means that you quickly have the ideal temperature in the apartment and the underfloor heating in the bathrooms is beneficial for your feet after a day on the golf course. Of course, there is good wi-fi and a large modern flat-screen TV with international channels. Cleaning is done every 7 days, including changes of bed linen and towels/bath towels.

Quinta do Algarvio’s resort area is fenced, has a reception and you park directly next to your townhouse where there is a practical small storage room for golf equipment.

Carvoeiro, which is beautifully located on the Atlantic cliffs, is a fantastic destination for visitors who want a quiet and relaxing holiday. The peaceful atmosphere with its many pleasant small restaurants, cafés and bars. Offerd daily freshly caught fish, delicious meat dishes and locally grown vegetables and fruit. In and around Carvoeiro, many PT Golf guests gather and meet, for relaxation with new and old golf friends also at our golf competitions, mingling and dinners. From the accommodation, it is just over 2 km down to Carvoeiro’s beautiful sandy beach and the small village cozy center with its restaurants, cafes and small shops.

There are practically no limits to the number of exciting excursion destinations in this area. Just a few hundred meters east of the city center you find Algar Seco, an impressive cave formation caused by the corrosion of the Atlantic over the millennia. A few kilometers further west, cave enthusiasts will find Praia de Benagil, which can be visited by boat from the small village of Benagil. These cave formations are considered one of the most intresting in Europe. To the west, a visit to picturesque Ferragudo is recommended, and as well to the town Portimão with its wide range of restaurants and culture is recommended.

From Quinta do Algarvio, you can easily reach many of the golf courses in our golf package. The favorites Gramacho and Pinta are only a 5-minute drive away, and the equally popular Silves is only a 15-minute drive away. The very pleasant and easy-to-walk the twin golf courses Alamos and Morgado (where the European Tour has played) are about a 25-minute drive away.

Our unique golf package Western Algarve – Optional Golf includes play on 15 different golf courses along the coast, from Santo António in the far west to Vila Sol in Vilamoura.

Booking times for your own game are made via email, phone and/or visit to the golf courses/clubhouse or in our Guest Portal where pre-booked times are earmarked for PT Golf’s Guests. 

Registration for our golf competitions is made in our Guest Portal.

In the Guest Portal, 10 rounds (own game and competitions) can be booked from home, while the rest are booked on site in the Algarve according to the principle ‘play one, book one’. 

Booking times in the Guest Portal are for all our Guests in the Western Algarve, which provides variety and playing together with both new and old friends.

Upon arrival, you will receive all information regarding golf from our golf host on site.
