Vale do Milho is a modern luxury accommodation completed in 2018. The accommodation – positioned high with sea views, right next to the fine 9-hole golf course of the same name. Spacious townhouse apartments with your own pool and both a terrace and large balcony. This is genuinely excellent accommodation with easy access to golf, the sea and beautiful countryside. You walk just a few minutes to the nearby 9-hole golf course.
Our townhouse apartments at Vale do Milho are large (approximately 160 sqm), bright and well-laid-out over two floors with modern, tasteful furnishings. On the ground floor you have a very well-equipped kitchen, large living room, toilet and your own terrace overlooking your private pool and the resort grounds. Upstairs there are two bright, spacious bedrooms each with en-suite bathrooms. Of course there is excellent wi-fi and a large modern flat-screen TV with international channels. Cleaning takes place every 7 days, including fresh bed linen and towels. A laundry room (free to use) is available at reception.
Vale do Milho's resort grounds are gated with 24-hour security, have a reception desk and parking directly adjacent to your apartment. You walk just a few minutes to the nearby 9-hole golf course of the same name – where our guests receive a 20% discount on green fees – and to Carvoeiro village is just a 15-minute drive.

Nearby Carvoeiro, beautifully positioned on the cliffs above the Atlantic, is a wonderful destination for visitors seeking a peaceful and relaxed holiday in a characterful and charming town. The relaxed atmosphere is filled with many lovely little restaurants, cafés and bars serving freshly caught fish, excellent meat dishes and locally grown vegetables and fruit. From Vale do Milho it is approximately 4 km (about 10 minutes by car or about 40 minutes on foot) down to Carvoeiro's characteristic and beautiful sandy beach and the little town's cosy centre with its restaurants, cafés and small shops. There are virtually unlimited exciting excursions in the surrounding area and some of the Algarve's most beautiful sandy beaches are within 30 minutes of your accommodation.
From Vale do Milho you can easily reach many of the courses in your golf package. To the popular Gramacho, Pinta and Silves it is only about 15-20 minutes' drive, and to equally popular Salgados it takes about 25 minutes. The very pleasant and easy-walking sister courses Alamos and Morgado (where the European Tour has been played) are about 25 minutes' drive to the north-west.

Tee time bookings for your own play are made by email, telephone and/or by visiting the courses/clubs, and in the guest portal where pre-booked times are reserved for PT Golf guests. Registration for our competitions is made in the guest portal.
In the guest portal you can book 10 rounds of golf (your own play and competitions) from home, whilst the remainder are booked on site in the Algarve using the 'play one, book one' principle. The tee time booking in the guest portal is shared by all our guests in Western Algarve, which gives variety and the chance to play with both new and old friends.
On arrival you will receive all information regarding golf from our golf host on site. Welcome!

Accommodation details
West Algarve
We consider West Algarve to extend from Albufeira and westwards. This was where Portuguese explorers set sail in the 15th century on their voyages of discovery around the world. The landscape features mountains inland, rolling cliffs to the west and flatter coastline to the east. In the cities of Silves and Lagos, you can feel history's presence and see preserved traces of the Moorish past and the age of exploration. Algarve's least developed area is the north-western corner with its protected nature reserves, untouched beaches, wild coastlines and dramatic cliffs. Here you'll find Europe's most south-westerly point, Cabo de São Vicente, where the mighty Atlantic makes an awe-inspiring impression.
The hub is Alvor and Portimão with their long beaches and genuine fishing harbours. From here you can reach everything from championship golf courses to the cliff drama of Ponta da Piedade, and in the evening you can enjoy cataplana in the harbour quarters or watch the sunset from Lagos' ancient walls. In winter you'll often have both the golf courses and beaches almost to yourself – and prices are at their best.
