Vila das Lagoas

Vila das Lagoas is located a stone’s throw from Salgados popular golf course easy to walk, the clubhouse is only a few minutes walk from the apartments. 

The several-kilometer-long sandy beach Praia dos Salgados is only about 500 meters away.

Here you will live in our modern and spacious self-catering apartments with well-equipped kitchens, generous balconies and large windows. The accommodation is nestled in a lush area with beautiful gardens and green areas with olive and palm trees. The apartments have 2 bedrooms + 2 bathrooms and are designed with modern and comfortable furnishings to meet high quality standards. All apartments are equipped with good wi-fi and flat TV screen with international channels.

The area around Salgados has a lot to offer in terms of excursions. The Zoo Marine with its breathtaking dolphin show is worth a visit, and don’t miss the world-famous sand sculpture exhibition in Pera. For those interested in history, the Capela dos Ossos in Alcantarilha, with its interior of human bones and skulls, is a very interesting visit. In addition to this, there are the extensive sandy beaches and boat trips for dolphin watching – if you are lucky you can also see killer whales on their journey between the Atlantic and the Mediterranean.

Visit the old town of Albufeira (about 20 minutes drive) with its small streets and charm hidden spots for restaurants, cafés and bars. To the west is Armação de Pêra (about 10 minutes) with its quiet atmosphere and pleasant people. The fish of the day – Catch of the Day – is available almost everywhere and almost always offers a gourmet experience.

Our guests at Vilas das Lagoas have free access to the area’s outdoor pools and for a fee to the SPA area with jacuzzi, sauna and steam bath. Tennis courts are also available. The nearby NAU hotel has two restaurants and in the vicinity there are several traditional Portuguese restaurants with the well-known restaurant Museu dos Salgados as its flagship – not to be missed! A small supermarket and the Algarve Gia Shopping outlet shopping center is about 15 minutes’ drive from the accommodation.

From Vila das Lagoas you easily reach several of the courses in the golf package. 

Our unique golf package Western Algarve – Optional Golf involves playing on 15 different golf courses along the coast, from Santo António in the far west to Vila Sol in Vilamoura.

From the accommodation you can easily and quickly reach several of the courses in the golf package, and no course is further away than three quarters of an hour by car. They all have their own characteristics and charm, not only in terms of course layout but also in terms of golf clubhouse, restaurant and facilities. 

Appointments for your own game are made via email, phone and/or visit to the golf courses/clubhouse or at our Guest Portal where pre-booked times are earmarked for PT Golf’s Guests. 

Registration for our competitions is made in the Guest Portal.

In the Guest Portal, 10 rounds (own play and competitions) can be booked from home, while the rest are booked on site in the Algarve according to the principle ‘play one, book one’. The time booking in the Guest Portal is for all our Guests in the Western Algarve, which provides variety and play together with both new and old friends.

Upon arrival, you will receive all information regarding golf from our golf host on site.
