Vale da Lapa in the Carvoeiro area is a nice gathering place for Europian golfers during the winter period with a large number of golf courses and the lovely fishing village Carvoeiro with its cozy atmosphere. Relax here with new and old golf friends and participate in our golf competitions, mingling and dinners.

Carvoeiro is a picturesque and traditional Portuguese resort, set on a stunning stretch of coastline of golden beaches and framed by dramatic scenery. The village Carvoeiro is beautifully situated on the cliffs down towards the Atlantic and is a fantastic destination for visitors who want a quiet and relaxed holiday. The calm atmosphere embraces with its many pleasant small restaurants, cafes and bars where freshly caught fish, good meat dishes and locally grown vegetables and fruit are offered.

There are, in principle, an unlimited number of exciting excursion destinations. Just a few hundred meters east of the city center and beach is the Algar Seco, an impressive cave formation caused by the corrosion of the Atlantic over the millennia. A few more kilometers to the west, those interested in caves will find their fill at Praia de Benagil, which can be visited by boat from the small village of Benagil. These cave formations are considered one of Europe’s foremost. To the west, a visit to picturesque Ferragudo is recommended, and if you want a dose of the ’pulse of the big city’, a visit to Portimão with its wide range of restaurants and culture is recommended.

Vale da Lapa is a 5-star accommodation where you live in a townhouse on two floors with patio, balcony, 2 bedrooms, large bright living room and fully equipped kitchen for long stay. The kitchen has a stove, oven, refrigerator, microwave, coffee machine, toaster, dishwasher and washing machine. Towels and bed linen are provided and changed every ten days. The area has 24-hour security.

Vale da Lapa is located on a hill above Carvoeiro with views of the sea and lush green areas. All townhouse apartments are air-conditioned and have a nice patio with table and chairs adjacent to the living room. Outdoor pool with sunbeds, surrounded by green areas and flowers. From the accommodation, it is about 4 km down to Carvoeiro’s characteristic and beautiful sandy beach and the cozy center of the small village, which has many restaurants, cafés and small shops.

From Vale da Lapa you can easily reach many of the courses in the golf package. To the popular Gramacho, Pinta and Silves it is only about 15-20 minutes drive and to the equally popular Salgados it takes about 25 minutes. The very nice and easy-to-walk twin courses Alamos and Morgado (where the European Tour was played) are about 25 minutes drive to the northwest. Palmares, between Lagos and Portimão, is of a very high standard and has sea views on most holes as well as fantastic views from the clubhouse.

Our unique West Algarve – Optional Golf package includes 15 different golf courses along the coast, from Santo António in the far west to Vila Sol in Vilamoura.

Time bookings for your own game are made via email, phone and/or visits to the courses/clubs as well as in the Guest Portal, where pre-booked times are earmarked for PT Golf’s Guests. Registration for our competitions is done in our Guest Portal.

In the Guest Portal, 10 rounds (own game and competitions) can be booked from home, while the rest can be booked on site in the Algarve according to the ’play one, book one’ principle. The time booking in the Guest Portal is for all our Guests in the Western Algarve, which provides variety and games together with both new and old friends.

Upon arrival, you will receive all information regarding the golf game from our on-site golf host.
