Carvoeiro is one of the Algarve’s most popular holiday resorts – a place where pristine beaches meet genuine Portuguese small-town charm and a generous selection of restaurants and bars. Here, in a quiet and peaceful area about 20 minutes’ walk from the town centre, lies Placid Village – our newest addition for a comfortable and pleasant longstay. Gramacho and Vale da Pinta, two of the Algarve’s most popular golf courses, are easily reached by car in 10 minutes.
Placid Village offers 28 stylish and individually decorated two and three-bedroom apartments, all fully equipped for a comfortable longer stay. The apartments are located in basement buildings, and whether you live on the ground floor or one floor up, you have access to your own balcony – perfect for enjoying the sun all year round. Both the two and three-bedroom apartments are available on both the ground and first floors. The spacious living rooms are decorated in bright, harmonious colors and equipped with air conditioning, a fireplace and a comfortable sofa set. There is also a wall-mounted flat-screen TV with cable channels and direct access to the balcony.
The open kitchens are modern and fully equipped with everything you could possibly need - fridge/freezer, dishwasher, oven, hob, microwave, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, citrus press, washing machine, iron and ironing board. In short - there is everything here to make you feel at home! The bedrooms are air-conditioned and offer different combinations of single and double beds. The two-room apartments have a shared bathroom and an additional guest toilet, while the three-room apartments have an additional bedroom with its own bathroom instead of a second toilet.
The area also has several amenities that further enhance the enjoyment: A paddle court for those who want to keep active, free parking inside the gates, a small gathering room with coffee - perfect for social moments, a small pool with sun loungers, a reception staffed daily and a night guard on site when the reception is closed.

From Placid Village it takes 10 minutes by car to the popular courses Gramacho and Vale da Pinta, but as our guest here you have access to our entire unique golf package Western Algarve - Optional Golf means playing on different golf courses along the coast, from Santo António in the far west to Vila Sol in Vilamoura.
With us you have the market's widest and best golf package with high-quality golf courses for all levels and tastes. Long and tough or shorter and more technical. Flat and walkable or hilly and breathtaking. Play on just one or a few courses, or try a new course "every day". The possibilities are almost endless!
Booking your own game is primarily done via our Guest Portal (or app), where a basic range of starting times is reserved for our guests. It is also possible to book times via email, telephone or directly on site at the courses. Registration for our competitions is always done in the Guest Portal or app. You can book up to 10 rounds - both your own game and competitions - before arrival, while the remaining rounds are booked on site according to the principle "play one, book one". The Guest Portal is shared by all our guests in the Western Algarve, which provides the opportunity for varied games and pleasant fellowship with both new and well-known golf friends.
