Cabanas Beach

Our high-class and extremely popular accommodation Cabanas Beach is just a stone’s throw from Cabana’s nice beach promenade with all its nice restaurants, bars and cafes. In recent years, an extensive upgrade of the apartments has been made, all of which are very nice and fully equipped for a successful longstay stay.

At the Beach – as it is popularly called – we mainly have apartments with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, but there are also a limited number of penthouse apartments with a roof terrace. The area has a very nice pool area which is a natural and pleasant gathering place for our guests.

Over the last decade, Cabanas has – from being a quiet and peaceful fishing village with the local fishermen as the most striking feature – grown into one of the most genuine and emblematic places in the Eastern Algarve, to which visitors and tourists return again and again. Despite this, Cabanas is still a small and charming village that cherishes its history, and along the promenade at the edge of the Ria Formosa you have a large selection of nice restaurants with fresh fish, good meat dishes and a great atmosphere. A number of PT Golf’s mingling and restaurant evenings with good food and pleasant entertainment are organized here during the season.

From Cabanas you have ’close to everything’. To cozy, historic Tavira it is just under 10 minutes by car and to Spain about half an hour. The coastline from Cabanas east towards the Spanish border is a long chain of fantastic sandy beaches, all of which are easily accessible by car via the N-125 coastal road. The A22 motorway – Via de Infante – is easily reached via Tavira or Monte Gordo for trips along the Algarve coast and into Spain.

In Cabanas, you really have golf around the corner. To the ’home club’ Benamor – where we have daily tee times, weekly competitions and great socializing on the 19th hole – it’s only 5 minutes. The fantastic twin courses Quinta da Ría and Quinta da Cima can be reached in 10 minutes. Within half an hour you are also at the challenging gem of Quinta do Vale and the undulating scenic Castro Marim near the border.

On the other side of the border  our Spanish courses Isla Canela Old Course, Isla Canela Links, El Rompido Monacilla and more – all within an hour’s drive from Cabanas.

Time bookings for your own game are made via email, phone and/or visits to the golf  courses/clubhouse or in our Guest Portal, where pre-booked times are earmarked for PT Golf’s Guests. 

Registration for our competitions is done in the Guest Portal and several competitions are shared with our Guests on the Spanish side.

In the Guest Portal, 10 rounds (own game and competitions) can be booked from home, while the rest can be booked on site in the Algarve according to the ’play one, book one’ principle. The time booking in the Guest Portal is fr all our Guests in the Eastern Algarve, which provides variety and games together with both new and old friends.

Upon arrival, you will receive all information regarding the golf game from our on-site golf host.
