In addition to golf, Marbella and its surroundings have a huge amount to offer. Marbella's beautiful old town with its whitewashed facades, orange trees and cozy squares is well worth half a day, and the famous port of Puerto Banús with its luxury yachts and lively restaurant strip is just a short drive west. The beaches along this part of the coast are long and inviting, and chiringuitos - the classic beach restaurants - serve freshly caught fish and cold drinks with your feet in the sand.
The picturesque mountain town of Ronda with its dramatic gorge bridge is a fantastic day trip, as is Mijas Pueblo, the white mountain village with its donkey rides and craft shops. For a slightly longer excursion, the Alhambra in Granada, the cathedral city of Córdoba or historic Seville are all within reasonable driving times. Gibraltar with its famous rock and tax-free shopping is another popular day trip. The climate in the Marbella area is one of the best in Europe with over 320 days of sunshine per year and a pleasant average temperature all year round, protected by the Sierra Blanca mountains to the north and cooled by the sea breeze from the Mediterranean. Air connections to Malaga International Airport, which is around 40 minutes away, are excellent with frequent departures from Scandinavia, making the journey here both easy and affordable.
From Malaga Airport, it only takes around 40 minutes by car to Alanda Club. The fast and well-signposted A-7 coastal road makes it easy to get around, whether you are going into Marbella for a day trip or to catch a flight home.

Booking times for your own game is primarily done via our Guest Portal (or app), where a basic range of starting times is reserved for our guests. It is also possible to book times via email, telephone or directly on site at the courses. Registration for our competitions is always done in the Guest Portal or app. You can book up to 10 rounds – both your own game and competitions – before arrival, while the remaining rounds are booked on site according to the principle of “play one, book one”. The Guest Portal is shared by all our guests in the area, which provides the opportunity for varied games and pleasant fellowship with both new and well-known golf friends.
