On the hillside above the fantastic coastal town of Estepona lies the brand new and state-of-the-art Mirador Estepona Hills. Mirador means viewpoint in Spanish, and that is exactly what this accommodation offers – namely a breathtaking view of the Mediterranean Sea and the rolling hillsides.
The spacious, bright apartments at Estepona Hills have two bedrooms and are state-of-the-art and luxuriously furnished with all amenities. There is a dishwasher and washing machine, wifi and flat-screen TV and a well-equipped kitchen for self-catering – complete with fridge/freezer, oven, microwave, coffee machine and crockery, cutlery and utensils.
On site there is a large outdoor pool (normally not open in winter) and a fantastic fitness centre with paddle tennis and a gym. The gym as well as group training (e.g. spinning, yoga and pilates) are included and are free of charge for our guests, while paddle tennis and tennis are booked for a fee. There is also a sauna here that can be booked for a symbolic cost of €3 per use.
Estepona is a wonderfully pleasant little town that is alive all year round. In about twenty minutes you can walk down to the historic centre of the town where you can enjoy the winding little streets with their cobbled squares and colourful flower pots on the facades of the houses. The difference in height is impressive so you are welcome to take a taxi 'home' after the day's/evening's city tour, costs 6-9 euros.
Here in the lively coastal town of Estepona you can enjoy the long promenade with its countless cafes, bars and restaurants with a wide range of everything from simple tapas to gastronomic highlights and stroll through the historic districts with their cobblestone charm. The town, with its genuine Andalusian charm, has a bubbling street life all year round. From the accommodation down to the central parts of the town it is a 30-40 minute walk. However, there is a 100-meter difference in altitude, so most people take a taxi or Uber back 'home' after dinner.
On this part of the coast you will find a number of picturesque towns and the curious and active traveler can find several options for, for example, mountain hiking or a trip on horseback. Here you can enjoy a stay filled with genuine folk life, good golf, wonderful food, beach life and an outstanding mountain landscape.
From the airport in Málaga it takes about an hour by car to Estepona and the accommodation. If you continue south from Estepona you will reach a number of our golf courses on the way to our southernmost course Alcaidesa (about 30 minutes). To Gibraltar, with its special history and emblematic cliffs which should not be missed, it takes about 45 minutes.
From the accommodation it is close to the very nice golf courses that are included in our packages here. It takes about a quarter of an hour to drive to Doña Julia, and Valle Romano. To La Cañada at Sotogrande it takes about half an hour. Our three courses in the Benahavis area east of Estepona are only a 20-30 minute drive away.
