Vita Sol Park is our affordable budget accommodation in Lagos that offers accommodation in spacious apartments with nice views of Lagos surroundings. The apartments have varied standards and equipment. The walk into Lagos goes down a long hill which for many of our guests means a taxi back to the accommodation after dinner.
In the vicinity of the accommodation is the well-known marina and fishing port with boats of all kinds. In the marina there is also a nice fish restaurant that serves daily freshly caught fish. A short walk through the marina then further over the small bridge that leads to the center of Lagos with all its restaurants. The local market hall that sells fish, meat and vegetables is open every day of the week where the local residents largely buy their goods.
A large supermarket is also only 500m from Vita Sol Park.
The excursion destinations in the area are many and varied. Cabo San Vincente – where Henry the Navigator had his nautical school is well worth a visit. There are beautiful viewpoints and an interesting museum here. The Vincentina coast that stretches north from Cabo San Vincente is very scenic and interesting with many smaller fishing villages in a wild sea nature. A nice excursion is also a visit to the small, pleasant village of Burgau where you can have lunch down by the beach. Driving time about 15 minutes.
Meia Praia's magnificent beach is a maximum of 10 minutes drive from the accommodation with good parking facilities at the sandy beach for swimming and walking. On the beach there are excellent restaurants such as Berlim which serve good lunch and dinner daily.
The apartments are equipped with good internet and international TV channels. Parking under the building with a lift directly up to the apartment is very practical to be able to store the golf clubs in the car. From Lagos you can easily reach many of the golf courses in our golf package. Penina, the oldest golf course on the Algarve coast, with 18+9 holes designed by Sir Henry Cotton is pleasant and easy to walk. Palmares, between Lagos and Portimão, maintains a very high standard and has sea views on most holes as well as fantastic views from the clubhouse. Espiche is beautifully nestled in nature and the clubhouse has fantastic architecture and serves a really good lunch. Boavista is hilly and has a magnificent clubhouse with a very popular 19th hole.
Our unique golf package Western Algarve – Optional Golf involves playing on 13 different golf courses along the coast, from Santo António in the far west to Vila Sol in Vilamoura.
Appointments for your own game can be made in our guest portal where pre-booked times are earmarked for our guests. Alternatively, visit the reception of the various golf courses. Registration for our competitions is made in the guest portal. In the Guest Portal, 10 rounds (own play and competitions) can be booked from home, while the rest are booked on site in the Algarve according to the principle ‘play one, book one’. The time booking in the Guest Portal is common to all our Guests in the Western Algarve, which provides variety and play together with both new and old friends.
