Mar Menor Village

We can now offer a fantastic longstay offer in the well-known area of the Mar Menor.

Here we offer accommodation in modern apartments or accommodation in your own villa. Most villas have their own private swimming pool as well as access to the Mar Menor pool area.

The area has most of what you need for a successful long-stay trip, nice golf courses, large grocery store, several restaurants, café, gym & tennis courts.

The apartments/villas are very bright and nice and fully equipped and with nicely decorated interior. The kitchens are well equipped stove with 4 plates, oven, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine.

Murcia is one of the places in Europe with the least rainfall (300 mm of rainfall a year) and has a perfect longstay climate during the winter months.

The village of Los Alcázares has a lot to offer for those interested in culture & gastronomy. In the area there is a fish market and several restaurants serving fresh fish and seafood. There are also many tapas bars and cozy cafes along the long and beautiful beach promenade.

Los Alcázares; the current name comes from the Arabic Al Kazar which means castle or fort and has a rich history dating back to the 6th century when several wars were fought in the area.

In the village of Los Alcázares there are several interesting museums with an exciting history. The village has a long promenade, which is said to have one of the finest beaches in the area.

Also, don’t miss a visit to the interesting city of Murcia, which can be reached in 30 minutes by car on a good motorway.

We book your rental car for collection and return at Alicante airport. The drive to Mar Menor Village takes about 1 hour south down towards the village of Los Alcazares.

Our unique golf package ”Murcia” offers optional play on seven golf courses of varying character, length and feel. The Jack Nicklaus Golf Trail is a unique golf experience consisting of six Nicklaus Design Golf Courses of the highest quality and design. The courses Mar Menor, La Torre, Saurines de la Torre, Riquelme, El Valle and Alhama make the region of Murcia one of the most important golf destinations in Europe, a ”European Arizona”. Four of these are included in our track package!

Time bookings for your own game are made via email, telephone and/or visits to the golf courses/clubhouse or well as in our Guest Portal, where pre-booked times are earmarked for PT Golf’s Guests, which provides variety of golf together with both new and old friends.

Competition registration is also done in our Guest Portal, where you can pre-book up to 10 rounds from home, while the rest are booked on site according to the ’play one, book one’ principle.

On arrival, you will receive your vouchers for your golf package from our golf host on site.
