PT Golf is proud to present our new Longstay accommodation La Serena Golf Apartments in Los Alcázares, beautifully situated in the heart of the Murcia region on south-eastern Spain's sun-drenched Costa Cálida. The apartments are brand new with modern, bright interiors, fully equipped kitchens, spacious terraces with views over the golf course and access to a shared pool – everything you need to feel at home during an extended stay. With over 320 days of sunshine a year and an average temperature of around 21 degrees, this is an ideal destination if you want to escape the Scandinavian winter.

Right on your doorstep lies La Serena Golf, an 18-hole par 72 golf course designed by the legendary Ryder Cup player Manuel Piñero. The course winds around the 500-year-old watchtower Torre del Rame and offers a strategic and varied golfing experience with nearly 70 shaped bunkers and water hazards that come into play on 16 of 18 holes. The flat layout makes it easy to walk, but the ever-present Levante wind from Mar Menor provides an extra challenge that keeps the game interesting day after day. The stylish clubhouse with restaurant and terrace overlooking the course and Mar Menor is the perfect place to round off your day on the greens.

With La Serena Golf Apartments as your base, you have access to PT Golf's unique golf package "Murcia Special" with eleven different golf courses of varying character. This includes five of the six courses in the Jack Nicklaus Golf Trail – La Torre, El Valle, Saurines de la Torre, Mar Menor and Hacienda Riquelme – a collection of golf courses that makes the region one of Europe's most impressive golf destinations. You'll also be able to play at New Sierra Golf, Hacienda del Alamo and Campo Sol, so whether you prefer long and challenging courses or shorter and more technical layouts, there's always a new challenge to discover.

Beyond the golf course awaits the charming coastal town of Los Alcázares with its long seafront promenade, authentic tapas bars and fresh seafood restaurants, all just three kilometres away. Mar Menor's calm, shallow waters are perfect for swimming, sailing and water sports. If you want to explore further, the historic city of Murcia is just 30 minutes away on a fine motorway, with a rich selection of culture, shopping and restaurants. Flight connections are excellent – Alicante airport is reached in just over an hour, and we'll book your rental car for pick-up and return directly at the airport.

The drive from the airport to La Serena Golf Apartments takes approximately 1 hour south towards the village of Los Alcázares.

Booking tee times for your own play is done primarily through our the guest portal (or app), where a basic selection of tee times is reserved for our guests. It's also possible to book times by e-mail, telephone or directly on site at the courses. Registration for our competitions is always done via the guest portal or app. You can book up to 10 rounds of golf – both your own play and competitions – before arrival, whilst remaining rounds are booked on site on a "play one, book one" basis. the guest portal is shared by all our guests in the area, which gives you the opportunity for varied play and pleasant socialising with both new and familiar golfing friends.

On arrival you will be welcomed by our golf host who will hand over your vouchers for your golf package. Welcome!
