Now we can present a long-awaited accomodation in the Murcia area. Accomodation and golf at La Torre Golf Resort in the well-known golfing area of Murcia in south-east Spain. 

La Torre Golf Resort has modern and bright apartments with amenities and services. The apartments have a fully equipped kitchen with stove, oven, microwave, fridge and freezer, as well as a washing machine. Free parking is available next to the apartments. There is a good range of restaurants, bars and shops in the area.

In our golf package there are three very popular golf courses designed by Jack Nicklaus which are located within a short distance from the accommodation. The courses are walkable and have different characters with varying layouts, which is appreciated by all golfers.

La Torre Golf Resort is well located with only about 20 minutes drive to the beachside genuine Spanish village of Los Alcazares with its exciting history. In the area there is a fish market and several restaurants serving fresh fish and seafood. There are also many tapas bars and cozy cafes along the long beach promenade.

The province of Murcia is one of the places in Europe with the least rainfall (approx. 300 mm of rainfall a year) and has a perfect winter climate for a longer visit even in December and January. The area is one of Europe’s largest producers of vegetables, fruit, flowers and trees. And there are very nice wine districts well worth visiting, for example the area Jumilla.

The cities of Murcia, Cartagena and Alicante have a lot to offer for those interested in culture & gastronomy, with a long history and a wide range of shops and shopping. Not far from Murcia is Granada and the famous Alhambra, built by the Romans and the Alhambra is on the UNESCO World Heritage List.

From Alicante airport, you can reach the accommodation in about an hour’s drive on a fine motorway. Los Alcázares’ current name comes from the Arabic Al Kazar which means castle or fort and has a rich history dating back to the 6th century when several wars were fought in the area.

Don’t miss a visit to the interesting city of Murcia, which can be reached in 30 minutes by car on a fine motorway.

We book your rental car for collection and return at Alicante airport. The drive to La Torre Golf Resort takes approximately 1 hour.

 Our golf package for at La Torre provides optional play on three Jack Nicklaus-designed golf courses of varying character, length and feel. The Jack Nicklaus Golf Trail is a unique golf experience consisting of a total of six courses of the highest quality and design. This makes the region of Murcia one of the most important golf destinations in Europe, a ”European Arizona”. Three of the courses in the Jack Nicklaus Golf Trail are included in our course package! 

Time bookings for your own game are made via email, telephone and/or visits to the golf courses/clubhouse or in our Guest Portal, where pre-booked times are earmarked for PT Golf’s Guests, which provides variety and games together with both new and old friends.

Competition registration is done in the Guest Portal, where you can pre-book up to 10 rounds from home, while the rest are booked on site according to the ’play one, book one’ principle.

On arrival, you will receive your vouchers for your golf package from our golf host on site.
