Tavira Terrace

This very pleasant area is located high and overlooking the 3,000 year old city of Tavira with its white buildings and pleasant little streets. The city is one of the Algarve’s most talked about and popular destinations that charms its visitors with its pleasant calm and pleasant folk life all year round.

The apartments at Tavira Terrace are of a very high standard and are located around a nice and leafy pool area with lawn for relaxing between rounds of golf. Most apartments have 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, large living room and fully equipped kitchen. A number are on the ground floor with a patio and direct access to the pool area, the others are penthouse apartments upstairs with a sunny roof terrace and a view towards Tavira and the sea. All apartments have good Wi-Fi and international TV channels. Parking on the street outside in the quiet area.

There is also a very limited number of Duplex Townhouse apartments with 3 bedrooms, own garage and magnificent 360 degree roof terrace. These are on 2 levels with kitchen and living room/lounge with patio facing the pool half a flight of stairs up, while the three bedrooms are upstairs. Another staircase leads up to the roof terrace, which offers an expansive view of the city and the sea.

Tavira’s market hall is fantastic with freshly caught fish, local butchers and locally grown fruit & vegetables. The promenade along the river is very pleasant and lined with small cafes and restaurants for all tastes. Enjoy a drink of your choice along the river’s edge and watch the Gilão River – which empties into the Atlantic Ocean here – rise and fall with the tides.

On the third Saturday of the month, the town’s market takes place, where you can see and buy everything from live aviation fans to local crafts and, of course, knick-knacks. Don’t miss this event, and especially don’t miss the charcoal-grilled chicken served with salad and wine at the occasional tables set up in the marketplace. An experience!

Please note that cleaning is not included, but the apartments are easy to clean and cleaning equipment is available. For Guests who wish cleaning, PT Golf takes care of this at a very reasonable cost. 

Parking spaces are outside the building, there is no garage.

To the ’home golfclub’ Benamor – where we have daily tee times, weekly competitions and great socializing on the 19th hole – it’s only 5-10 minutes. The fantastic twin tracks Quinta da Ría and Quinta da Cima can be reached in a quarter of an hour. Within half an hour you are also at the challenging gem of Quinta do Vale and the bellowing scenic Castro Marim near the border.

On the other side of the bridge over the border river Guadiana are our Spanish courses Isla Canela Old Course, Isla Canela Links, El Rompido,Monacilla and more – all within an hour’s drive from Cabanas.

Our unique Eastern Algarve Voucher includes Quinta da Ria and Quinta da Cima. Benamor, Castro Marim, Quinta do Vale and our 8 courses in Western Spain. 

Time bookings for your own game are made via email, phone and/or visits to the golf courses/clubhouse as well as in the Guest Portal, where pre-booked times are earmarked for PT Golf’s Guests. 

Registration for our competitions is done in our Guest Portal and several competitions are shared with our Guests on the Spanish side.

In the Guest Portal, 10 rounds (own game and competitions) can be booked from home, while the rest can be booked on site in the Algarve according to the ’play one, book one’ principle. The time booking in the Guest Portal is for to all our Guests in the Eastern Algarve, which provides variety and games together with both new and old friends.

Upon arrival, you will receive all information regarding the golf game from our on-site golf host.
