Costa Esuri – golf on the coast of light!
At Costa Esuri you'll stay in Ayamonte, where the Guadiana river meets the Atlantic and Portugal lies just across the water. The area is peaceful and well-maintained, with bright apartments, a pool and plenty of sunshine, and the golf courses are just a few minutes away. Here you set the pace: a round in the morning, lunch in the sun and your evening on the terrace.
Most of our guests stay at Vista Esuri, which has the best location in the area. It's a two-minute drive to Isla Canela Links, or a ten-minute walk. Along the same street you'll find a small shop, a pharmacy and a café, so life is easy even without a rental car.
The apartments are spacious, with two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a fully equipped kitchen. All have a terrace, balcony or roof terrace, and many overlook the pool area or the surrounding countryside. Air conditioning is fitted in the living room and bedrooms, and cleaning is included every fortnight. There's room to get away and room to gather, making Costa Esuri particularly suitable for friends or several families travelling together.
With Golf you can choose from ten courses on both sides of the border. Isla Canela Links and its sister course Isla Canela Old Course are among the region's most popular courses. Links offers wide views along the Guadiana, whilst Old Course features lush fairways and a more parkland character. After your round, the clubhouse restaurant Thebussem awaits – a favourite with our guests. Over the bridge in Portugal lie Quinta do Vale and Castro Marim, both within a fifteen-minute drive. Islantilla, La Monacilla, Bellavista, Nuevo Portil and the two courses in El Rompido are within about thirty minutes. This blend of links, parkland and woodland, Spanish and Portuguese golf means each week can feel fresh and new. You can easily book tee times in the guest portal or the app, where a selection of times are reserved for our guests. You can also book by email, telephone or directly at the course. Before you leave, you can book up to ten rounds, both casual play and competitions. The rest you book on site on a "play one, book one" basis. The guest portal is shared by all our guests in the area, making it easy to find new playing partners or meet old golfing friends in our competitions.

Costa de la Luz
Costa de la Luz stretches from the Portuguese border at Ayamonte via Isla Canela, El Rompido and Punta Umbría to Huelva. Here the coast is flat, the beaches stretch for miles and the golf courses are varied – from the links-style Isla Canela to the woodland courses at El Rompido. The area is less developed than Costa del Sol and prices are generous.
Isla Canela and Islantilla are the main resorts – modern holiday areas right on the beach with promenades, restaurants and golf on your doorstep. Ayamonte on the Guadiana River offers authentic everyday Andalusian life with tapas bars and a Saturday market, and on your rest day Doñana National Park, the Columbus sites around La Rábida or Portuguese Tavira across the border beckon. Fly to Faro – the transfer takes just over half an hour.
