Lakeside Country Club is a spectacular accommodation in the well-known area of Quinta do Lago, just east of Vilamoura. Lakeside is - as the name suggests - beautifully located right next to the small lake Lago with a couple of cozy restaurants/bars. Furthermore, it is a nice half-hour walk down to the Atlantic Ocean and the mile-long Praia de Quinta do Lago.
At Lakeside we have apartments with 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom or 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. All apartments are modern, bright and of the highest quality in every detail. Large living room, fully equipped kitchen, good Wi-Fi and spacious balcony with table and chairs. The area has a large heated indoor pool, jacuzzi, sauna and a small gym available to our guests at no extra cost. There is also a tennis court and a ping pong room for those who want to supplement with ball games outside the golf course.
The nearest shopping center with a supermarket and other shops is "Quinta Shopping" which is only a 5-minute drive from the accommodation. The fashionable coastal town of Vilamoura can be reached in about 20 minutes with everything you can imagine in terms of shopping, restaurants, cafes, bars and cultural offerings. Between Quinta do Lago and Vilamoura we have the charming village of Quarteira (20 min) with a wonderful nightlife and many cozy restaurants for a relaxing and delicious lunch or dinner.
PT Golf offers several different golf packages and flexible game combinations in the Central Algarve - based on Vilamoura Golf's highly rated courses (formerly known as Dom Pedro). The packages include Pinhal, Laguna and Millennium, as well as Vila Sol - a popular course belonging to the Pestana group. For those who want to play even more, there is also the option of including rounds on Pestana's other five courses in the western Algarve.
For those looking for even greater variety, we also offer special packages of five rounds at Vale do Lobo, Quinta do Lago and Pinheiros Altos. Tee times at Vale do Lobo, Quinta do Lago and Vilamoura Golf's courses are booked in advance by our golf hosts. You can easily book tee times at Pinheiros Altos and other courses yourself via our Guest Portal where we have pre-booked and earmarked tee times exclusively for PT Golf guests (you can also book directly with these courses once you are there).
Our competitions in the area are often played at Vila Sol, and registration is easy via the Guest Portal. You can book up to 10 rounds from home (both your own game and competitions). Other rounds are booked on site according to the play one – book one principle, which provides flexibility and the opportunity to play together with both new and old golf friends.
When you arrive, you will receive your golf vouchers from our golf host on site, who is also available during your stay to help with bookings, tips and support. Welcome to a comfortable, social and varied game of golf in the heart of the Algarve!
