At Aquamar you live a stone's throw from the impressive marina in Vilamoura, where restaurants, pubs, bars and cafes are located close to the impressive parade of exclusive boats and smaller ships.
The pleasant marina promenade right outside the door runs among all the well-known restaurants and here is also the Swedish-owned top restaurant Aquavit, well worth a visit.
At Aquamar, most apartments have two bedrooms and two bathrooms, a limited number of apartments are also available with one bedroom. All apartments are fully equipped for longstay stays with a large living room, fully equipped kitchen, good WiFi and international TV channels. The complex has a nice pool area with sun loungers, a nice place to socialize with other PT Golf guests.
In Vilamoura there is 'everything'. An innumerable number of restaurants, shopping for all tastes, casino, parks, a rich cultural offering and direct access to the sandy beaches, all within walking distance of Aquamar. The promenade on the new road through the marina now continues directly to the nearby small town of Quarteira where the fish market is open daily with a wide range of everything the Atlantic Ocean has to offer in terms of fish and shellfish. Sea fishing trips depart from Vilamoura Marina throughout the year, as well as smaller cruises along the coast.
From Vilamoura, you can quickly reach the Via de Infante (A22) motorway for excursions along the Algarve coast. The distance to Faro Airport is only 24 km.
PT Golf offers several different golf packages and flexible game combinations in the Central Algarve - based on Vilamoura Golf's highly rated courses (formerly known as Dom Pedro). The packages include, among others, Pinhal, Laguna and Millennium, as well as Vila Sol - a popular course belonging to the Pestana group. For those who want to play even more, there is also the option to include rounds on Pestana's other five courses in the western Algarve.
For those looking for even more variety, we also offer special packages of five rounds at Vale do Lobo, Quinta do Lago and Pinheiros Altos. Tee times at Vale do Lobo, Quinta do Lago and Vilamoura Golf courses are booked in advance by our golf hosts. Times at Pinheiros Altos and other courses can be booked easily via our Guest Portal where we have pre-booked and earmarked times exclusively for PT Golf guests (you can also book directly with these courses once you are on site).
Our competitions in the area are often played at Vila Sol, and registration is easy via the Guest Portal. You can book up to 10 rounds from home (both your own game and competitions). Other rounds are booked on site according to the play one - book one principle, which provides flexibility and the opportunity to play together with both new and old golf friends.
