Here you are close to "undiscovered Algarve" with Sagres at the far southwestern tip and the long, beautiful, wild and dramatic Atlantic coastline of Costa Vicentina stretching northwards. A perfect place for guests seeking tranquillity and natural beauty with Luz and Lagos just a short half hour away.
Salema Beach Village is of the very highest class and quality. The accommodation is characterised by its generous size and comfort, along with spacious outdoor areas with plenty of natural light.
At Salema Beach Village, we offer apartments with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and an additional toilet. The bedrooms are on the lower floor with two bathrooms, one of which has a spa bath. On the upper floor, there is a bright and airy living room with a large sofa, armchair and a spacious dining table with 6 chairs. There is also a very spacious and well-equipped kitchen.
The apartments have everything you could wish for: good Wi-Fi, well-equipped kitchen facilities, dishwasher and washing machine, drying rack, cleaning equipment. A large flat-screen TV is in the living room and a smaller TV in the master bedroom. All apartments have a patio and terrace, and the entire resort faces south-southwest towards the sea.
The resort has 24-hour reception, bicycle hire and outdoor gym, tennis court and outdoor pool.
The distance from Salema to the nearest golf course Santo António Golf is just under 5 minutes. You also have convenient access to Espiche and Boavista, only about twenty minutes' drive from Salema.

From the accommodation, you can easily and quickly reach several of the courses in the golf package, and no course is more than three-quarters of an hour's drive away. Each has its own character and charm, not only in terms of course layout and scorecard, but also in terms of clubhouse, restaurant and facilities. Try them out and find your favourites!
Booking tee times for your own play is done via email, telephone and/or by visiting the courses/clubs, and in the guest portal where pre-booked times are reserved for PT Golf guests. Entry to our competitions is made in the guest portal.
In the guest portal, 10 rounds of golf (your own play and competitions) can be booked from home, whilst the remaining rounds are booked on site in Algarve according to the principle 'play one, book one'. The tee time booking in the guest portal is shared by all our guests in Västra Algarve, which gives variety and the chance to play with both new and old friends.

West Algarve
We consider West Algarve to extend from Albufeira and westwards. This was where Portuguese explorers set sail in the 15th century on their voyages of discovery around the world. The landscape features mountains inland, rolling cliffs to the west and flatter coastline to the east. In the cities of Silves and Lagos, you can feel history's presence and see preserved traces of the Moorish past and the age of exploration. Algarve's least developed area is the north-western corner with its protected nature reserves, untouched beaches, wild coastlines and dramatic cliffs. Here you'll find Europe's most south-westerly point, Cabo de São Vicente, where the mighty Atlantic makes an awe-inspiring impression.
The hub is Alvor and Portimão with their long beaches and genuine fishing harbours. From here you can reach everything from championship golf courses to the cliff drama of Ponta da Piedade, and in the evening you can enjoy cataplana in the harbour quarters or watch the sunset from Lagos' ancient walls. In winter you'll often have both the golf courses and beaches almost to yourself – and prices are at their best.
