Baia da Luz is a high class accommodation located just 400 meters from the promenade with all its restaurants, grocery stores, bakery, fishmongers and butchers.

At Baia da Luz we offer apartments with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. In addition, there are also a limited number of duplex apartments with 2 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and a loft with extra beds. The resort has good Wi-Fi, reception 24 hours a day, bicycle rental and a very popular heated outdoor pool. In the area is the very popular restaurant Alloro, which has been talked about for its delicious Italian cuisine and fine wines.

The village of Luz – often called Praia da Luz due to its location close to the sea – is convivial and hospitable with permanent residents and tourists in a pleasant mix. Luz has an abundant selection of restaurants, cafes and bars along the promenade and is a very popular destination for residents from and around the Lagos area. An excursion to Sagres – ”The End of the World” – takes about half an hour and is recommended. This is where people stood in the 15th century and looked out towards the horizon before Vasco da Gama, Magelhão and the other Portuguese navigators conquered the oceans.

The distance from Luz to the nearest golf courses Espiche and Boavista is just under 10 minutes. And don’t miss the all-too-rarely-visited gem Santo António Golf, about a quarter of an hour’s drive west towards the Atlantic.

Time bookings for your own game are made via email, phone and/or visits to the courses/clubs as well as in the Guest Portal, where pre-booked times are earmarked for PT Golf’s Guests. Registration for our competitions is done in the Guest Portal.

In the Guest Portal, 10 rounds (own game and competitions) can be booked from home, while the rest can be booked on site in the Algarve according to the ’play one, book one’ principle. The time booking in the Guest Portal is for all our Guests in the Western Algarve, which provides variety and games together with both new and old friends.

Upon arrival, you will receive all information regarding the golf game from our on-site golf host.
