Tavira Suites

This pleasant accommodation is located in the centre of Tavira with its white buildings and pleasant little alleys. Right outside the door you have Tavira’s old town with its cosy shops, restaurants and cafés. The city is one of the Algarve’s most talked about and popular destinations that charms its visitors with its pleasant calm and pleasant people life all year round.

The apartments at Tavira City Suites have a very high standard and are located around a pleasant and quiet courtyard with a small exercise pool. All are duplex apartments on two or three floors (NB, no lift) with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, large living room and well-equipped kitchen. Balconies and patios are very small in this inner city accommodation. All apartments have a loft entrance, good Wi-Fi and international TV channels. Parking is available in the garage under the building and usually also on the small cul-de-sac right behind the accommodation.

Tavira’s fantastic market hall is a couple of minutes’ walk away, with freshly caught fish, local butchers and locally grown fruit & vegetables. The promenade along the river is very pleasant and lined with small cafes and restaurants for all tastes. Enjoy a drink of your choice along the riverbank and watch the Gilão River – which flows into the Atlantic Ocean here – rise and fall with the tide.

The town’s market takes place on the third Saturday of the month, where you can see and buy everything from live birds to local crafts and, of course, knick-knacks. Don’t miss this event, and especially not the charcoal-grilled chicken served with salad and wine at the temporary stands set up in the market square. An experience!

It’s only 5-10 minutes to the ’home club’ Benamor – where we have daily tee times, weekly competitions and great socialising on the 19th. The fantastic twin courses Quinta da Ría and Quinta da Cima can be reached in fifteen minutes. Within half an hour you can also be at the challenging gem Quinta do Vale and the breathtakingly beautiful Castro Marim near the border.

On the other side of the bridge over the Guadiana border river are our Spanish courses Isla Canela Old Course, Isla Canela Links, El Rompido and more – all within an hour’s drive of Cabanas.

Our unique Voucher Eastern Algarve includes Quinta da Ria and Quinta da Cima. Benamor, Castro Marim, Quinta do Vale and our 8 courses in Western Spain. Please note that free golf cart is included in this voucher on the slightly hilly Castro Marim and Quinta do Vale.

Booking times for your own game is done via email, telephone and/or visit to the courses/clubs and in the Guest Portal where pre-booked times are earmarked for PT Golf’s Guests. Registration for our competitions is done in the Guest Portal and several competitions are shared with our Guests on the Spanish side.

In the Guest Portal, 10 rounds (own game and competitions) can be booked from home, while the rest are booked on site in the Algarve according to the principle ’play one, book one’. Booking times in the Guest Portal are common to all our Guests in the Eastern Algarve, which provides variety and play together with both new and old friends.

Upon arrival, you will receive all information regarding golfing from our golf host on site.
