All apartments offer panoramic views over the lush surroundings and include parking. Nearby you'll find a highly regarded trattoria serving excellent pizzas and pasta dishes.

The complex features both indoor and outdoor pools, perfect for relaxation after a day on the golf course. There's also an indoor gym if you'd like to stay active between rounds of golf. Nearby you'll find several of Vilamoura's best golf courses, popular restaurants, bars, shopping centres and the renowned marina.

Although we don't visit Portugal during winter for the beach alone, it's hard not to mention how close you are to Falésia Beach. It stretches for six kilometres – from Vilamoura in the east to Olhos de Água in the west – and offers a spectacular combination of soft, golden sand dunes and red cliffs that rise dramatically from the sea. It's precisely this contrast – between the blue Atlantic waters and the rust-coloured cliffs – that makes the beach so special.

On a day away from the golf course, there's plenty to experience in the Vilamoura area. Take a trip to the charming small town of Loulé with its Moorish-inspired market hall, medieval town centre and colourful Saturday market. If you'd like to explore more of the Algarve's history and architecture, Faro is an excellent excursion – particularly the old town centre with its cobbled streets, cathedral and the famous bone chapel in Carmo Church. Just outside lies Estoi, with its pastel-coloured palace and nearby Roman ruins at Milreu, where ancient mosaics and bathhouses testify to the area's long history. For those seeking nature's drama, a visit to Benagil Cave is highly recommended – a spectacular sea cave reached by kayak or boat. If you prefer a more leisurely pace, drive inland to one of the small wine producers, such as Quinta da Tôr north of Loulé, where you can taste local wines in beautiful rural surroundings – or stop by an olive oil press and savour the Algarve's liquid gold.

PT Golf offers several different golf packages and flexible playing combinations in Central Algarve – based at Vilamoura Golf's highly ranked courses (formerly known as Dom Pedro). The packages include Pinhal, Laguna and Millennium, as well as Vila Sol – a popular course that's part of the Pestana group. If you'd like to play more, there's also the option to include rounds at Pestana's other five courses in western Algarve.

For those seeking even greater variety, we also offer special packages of five rounds at Vale do Lobo, Quinta do Lago and Pinheiros Altos. Tee times at Vale do Lobo, Quinta do Lago and Vilamoura Golf's courses are booked in advance by our golf hosts. Times at Pinheiros Altos and other courses can be booked conveniently through our the guest portal where we have pre-booked and reserved times exclusively for PT Golf guests (you can also book directly with these courses once you're there).

Our competitions in the area are often held at Vila Sol, and entry is simple via the guest portal. You can book up to 10 rounds from home (both personal play and competitions). Other rounds are booked on arrival on a play-one-book-one basis, which gives you flexibility and the chance to play with both new and old golfing friends.
