At Aquamar you stay just a stone's throw from the impressive marina in Vilamoura, where restaurants, pubs, bars and cafés line the waterfront alongside an impressive parade of exclusive boats and smaller vessels.

The pleasant marina promenade right outside your door takes you past all the well-known restaurants, and here you'll also find the Swedish-owned top restaurant Aquavit – well worth a visit.

Most apartments at Aquamar have two bedrooms and two bathrooms, with a limited number of one-bedroom apartments also available. All apartments are fully equipped for a Longstay stay with a spacious living room, fully equipped kitchen, excellent WiFi and international TV channels. The complex features a lovely pool area with sun loungers – a pleasant place to socialise with other PT Golf guests.

Vilamoura has 'everything'. Countless restaurants, shopping for all tastes, a casino, parks, a rich cultural offering and direct access to sandy beaches – all within walking distance of Aquamar. The promenade along the new route through the marina continues directly to the nearby small town of Quarteira, where the fish market is open daily with an abundant selection of everything the Atlantic has to offer in fish and seafood. Sea fishing trips depart from Vilamoura Marina throughout the year, as well as smaller coastal cruises.

From Vilamoura you're quickly onto the motorway Via de Infante (A22) for excursions along the Algarve coast. The distance to Faro airport is only 24 km.

PT Golf offers several different golf packages and flexible play combinations in Central Algarve – based at Vilamoura Golf's highly-ranked courses (formerly known as Dom Pedro). The packages include courses such as Pinhal, Laguna and Millennium, as well as Vila Sol – a popular course belonging to the Pestana group. If you'd like to play even more, there's also the option to include rounds at Pestana's other five courses in western Algarve.

For those seeking even greater variety, we also offer special packages of five rounds at Vale do Lobo, Quinta do Lago and Pinheiros Altos. Tee times at Vale do Lobo, Quinta do Lago and Vilamoura Golf's courses are booked in advance by our golf hosts. Times at Pinheiros Altos and other courses you can book yourself conveniently via our the guest portal, where we have pre-booked and reserved times exclusively for PT Golf guests (you can also book directly with these courses once you're on site).

Our competitions in the area are often held at Vila Sol, and entry is simple via the guest portal. You can book up to 10 rounds from home (both friendly play and competitions). Other rounds are booked on site on a play one – book one basis, which gives you flexibility and the chance to play with both new and old golfing friends.

When you arrive, you'll receive your golf vouchers from our golf host on site, who is also available during your stay to help with bookings, tips and support. Welcome to a comfortable, social and varied golfing experience in the heart of Algarve!
