You'll be staying in a two-storey terraced house at Quinta Velha, a peaceful and verdant complex in Cabanas de Tavira with a pool, two bars and two restaurants. It's just 900 metres to the jetty and boat service out to Cabanas Island, and Benamor Golf is less than two kilometres away.
The house is 104 m² and features both a terrace and balcony with dining area, garden, barbecue and sea views. Inside you'll find a fully equipped kitchen, a cosy lounge with an open fireplace, two bedrooms with double beds and two bathrooms – one with a bath and one with a shower. The house has air conditioning and wifi.
You can walk to Cabanas town centre with its restaurants, cafés and beach promenade, and shops are within just under a kilometre. Free parking is available outside the complex.

East Algarve
East Algarve, from Faro to the Spanish border, is the stretch of coast that has best preserved its original character. Tavira is one of Portugal's most beautiful small towns, with its churches, the Roman bridge and an excellent selection of restaurants. Beyond lies Ria Formosa, a lagoon landscape with islands and long sandy beaches reached by small ferries. Golf is played on courses such as Benamor, Quinta da Ria, Quinta de Cima and Castro Marim.
Here you enjoy a quieter pace than in the west: Cabanas and Tavira's beach islands are reached by small ferries, the market hall displays the day's catch and the evenings are peaceful. If you fancy a change of scenery, Spanish Ayamonte is just a short drive away over the Guadiana bridge. Winter is mild and tranquil, with empty beaches and plenty of tee times available.
