We're delighted to introduce our handpicked and spacious apartments in Punta Candor, a new accommodation option in south-west Spain, near the charming town of Rota and just a short journey from the historic city of Cádiz.

Punta Candor Apartments offer an excellent location that combines proximity to both town and nature. The apartments are just 5 km from Rota's charming town centre, where you can enjoy the town's rich culture, local restaurants and pleasant shopping streets. Moreover, some of the region's most beautiful beaches, including the popular Punta Candor beach, are within walking distance – perfect for leisurely strolls by the sea. For us golf enthusiasts, Costa Ballena Golf Club, one of the area's finest golf courses, is just a 10-minute drive away.

The apartments are bright and fully equipped with modern amenities including a hob, oven, washing machine and dishwasher. Each apartment has two bedrooms and there is access to underground parking beneath the buildings. Here you can enjoy comfortable and independent accommodation with proximity to both beach and golf.

Living on the edge of town life gives you the best of both worlds – you can enjoy the pulse of the town whenever you wish, yet you have the advantage of living in a peaceful and relaxing environment. You have the opportunity to prepare your own meals and look after yourself in a tranquil atmosphere. At the same time, you have quick and easy access to the roads that take you to golf courses and other attractions in the area.

Rota is easily reached in ten minutes by car. The town is renowned for its rich gastronomy and offers many pleasant tapas bars and fish restaurants. During the winter months, Rota is a lively and charming town with cobbled streets and small squares, where you can enjoy a glass of Sherry fino and some tapas. Cádiz, which is approximately 47 km from Rota, is a historic gem and Europe's oldest continuously inhabited city. Here you will find picturesque alleyways, impressive stone buildings and fascinating historical sights. Don't miss a visit to Jerez de la Frontera, the home of sherry, where you can participate in sherry tastings, explore the old town and see the famous horse show at the Royal Riding School.

The rental car is collected and returned at Málaga airport.

The drive to Rota is a natural experience taking 2½ hours along the Mediterranean coast southwards to Algeciras and then through the Los Alcornocales national park to Costa de la Luz. The slightly winding and scenic inland route through Andalusia's rolling landscape takes approximately 3 hours and tempts you with a pleasant break at one of the many authentic villages along this route. A bit longer to drive from the airport but a wonderful natural experience. The rental car can also be booked for collection and return at Faro airport, with the drive time then being approximately 4 hours.

Booking tee times for your own play is done via PT Golf's Gästportal where pre-booked tee times are reserved for our guests.

Alternatively, contact the golf courses/clubs by telephone or personal visit. The tee times offer variety and play with both new and old friends. Competition bookings are made in Gästportal where you can pre-book up to 10 rounds of golf (your own play and competitions) from home, whilst the remaining rounds are booked on site according to the 'play one, book one' principle.
