This family-owned and cozy little resort is centrally located in Sancti Petri just 150 meters from the fantastic sandy beach of La Barrosa. The apartments here are small, nice and cozy around the small saltwater pool. Most apartments have 1 bedroom but there are also a small number with 2 bedrooms and a number of studios.
The big plus of the apartments is the balcony/patio - half are west-facing while the others are inland. The kitchen is compact and equipped with an 'under-the-counter fridge' with freezer compartment and portable oven. These apartments are ideal for short stays!
In a couple of minutes you can walk down to the extensive sandy beach with views of the Atlantic Ocean to the west. The accommodation is ideally located on Sancti Petri's main street with tapas bars, restaurants, and cafes. La Barrosa beach is said to be one of the best in the world, thanks to its length, soft sand, pleasant water temperature, shallow nature and fantastic light.
It is about 30 km to Cádiz, the “big city” on Andalusia’s Atlantic coast. Cádiz’s picturesque cobblestone streets, stone buildings and historical heritage make it an obvious excursion destination. Founded around 1100 BC, this is one of the world’s oldest seafaring cities, and it was also from the port of Cadiz that Columbus began his journey to America. The Cádiz region is absolutely teeming with vineyards, natural areas, unparalleled beaches and other fantastic excursion destinations to explore on your own, or together with new and old friends.
We book your rental car for collection and return at Málaga airport. The drive to Sancti Petri is a nature experience and takes about 2½ hours along the Mediterranean coast south down to Algeciras and then through the Los Alcornocales National Park over to the Costa de la Luz. The slightly more winding and scenic inland road through Andalusia’s hilly landscape takes about 3 hours and tempts with pleasant coffee or food stops in one of the many authentic villages along this route. A little longer to drive from the airport perhaps, but a wonderful nature experience in itself. Of course, the rental car can also be booked for collection and return at Faro airport if desired - driving time about 3½ hours on a good motorway.
Our unique golf package Western Spain - Cádiz provides optional play on eleven golf courses with varying character, length and feel along this beautiful part of the Costa de la Luz. The 36-hole Club de Golf Novo Sancti Petri is only a 5-minute drive away and Sancti Petri Hills Golf, La Estancia Golf and Campano Golf are about 15 minutes by car.
Booking times for your own game is made via email, telephone and/or visit to the courses/clubs as well as in the Guest Portal where pre-booked times are earmarked for PT Golf's Guests, which provides variety and play together with both new and old friends. Competition registration is made in the Guest Portal where you can pre-book up to 10 rounds (your own game and competitions) from home, while the rest are booked on site according to the principle ‘play one, book one’.
