Welcome to Alanda Club, a four-star apartment hotel located in the popular Elviriakvarteren neighbourhood along Costa del Sol, just 300 metres from the beach and with everything you could wish for a long and enjoyable golf stay. Here you'll stay in spacious, bright apartments with fully equipped kitchen, washing machine, dishwasher, balcony and satellite TV – everything to make you feel at home during your visit.
The resort offers three outdoor pools, a heated indoor pool open year-round, jacuzzi, sauna, gym and squash courts, so there are plenty of opportunities to vary your days between golf and relaxation. The restaurant La Despensa de Alanda serves everything from breakfast buffet to dinners with a focus on fresh fish and Mediterranean cuisine, and in the little Elviriakvarteren neighbourhood just around the corner there are further cafés, restaurants and food shops within walking distance.
The golf offering in the area is in a class of its own, and Costa del Sol doesn't earn the nickname Costa del Golf without good reason. From the accommodation you have easy access to an impressive number of courses with varying character and challenges. Santa María Golf & Country Club, a beautiful parkland course designed by Antonio Garcia Garrido, is literally just around the corner at kilometre 192 and offers generous fairways surrounded by pine and cork oak trees.
In short, the area offers a variety of golf experiences that means no two days need to be the same.
Beyond golf, Marbella and its surroundings have an enormous amount to offer. Marbella's beautiful old town centre with its whitewashed façades, orange trees and charming squares is well worth a half-day visit, and the famous Puerto Banús marina with its luxury yachts and lively restaurant scene is just a short drive to the west. The beaches along this stretch of coast are long and inviting, and chiringuitos – the classic beach restaurants – serve freshly caught fish and cold drinks with your feet in the sand.
The picturesque mountain town of Ronda with its dramatic ravine bridge is a fantastic day trip, as is Mijas Pueblo, the white mountain village with its donkey rides and craft shops. If you fancy a slightly longer excursion, you can reach the Alhambra in Granada, the cathedral city of Córdoba or historic Seville in reasonable driving times. Gibraltar with its famous rock and its duty-free shopping is another popular excursion destination. The climate in the Marbella area is amongst Europe's very best with over 320 days of sunshine per year and a pleasant average temperature year-round, sheltered by the Sierra Blanca mountains to the north and cooled by the sea breeze from the Mediterranean. Flight connections to Málaga's international airport, which is approximately 45 minutes away, are excellent with frequent departures from Scandinavia, making the journey here both easy and affordable.
From Málaga airport it takes just approximately 40 minutes by car to Alanda Club. The quick and well-signposted coastal road A-7 makes it easy to get around, whether you're heading into Marbella for a day trip or to the airport for your flight home.

Booking tee times for your own play is done primarily via our the guest portal (or app), where a basic selection of tee times is reserved for our guests. It's also possible to book times via email, telephone or directly on the courses. Registration for our competitions is always done in the guest portal or app. You can book up to 10 rounds of golf – both your own play and competitions – before arrival, whilst remaining rounds are booked on site following the principle "play one, book one". the guest portal is shared by all our guests in the area, which offers the opportunity for varied play and pleasant fellowship with both new and familiar golf friends.

Mijas
Mijas is the municipality at the heart of the Costa del Sol, between Fuengirola and Marbella. The coast – Mijas Costa – comprises small villages such as La Cala de Mijas and Calahonda with long sandy beaches, a seafront promenade and beach bars serving grilled sardines year-round. High up in the mountains sits the white village of Mijas Pueblo with views across the entire coast.
You'll stay peacefully yet close to everything: Fuengirola with a train to Málaga, Marbella and Puerto Banús just a quarter of an hour away, and Málaga airport 25 minutes away. For golf, the location is unbeatable – La Cala Resort's three golf courses, Mijas Golf (Los Lagos and Los Olivos), Santana, Calanova, Miraflores and Cerrado del Águila are all within 15 minutes, and you can reach the rest of the Costa del Sol's golf courses in under an hour.
La Cala de Mijas has grown into perhaps the Costa del Sol's most charming golf village: the right size, with a seafront promenade, beach bars and restaurants open year-round. The Wednesday and Saturday market is a must-visit, and on your rest day, Mijas Pueblo high in the mountains, Málaga's museums or a day trip to Ronda will tempt you.
