At Los Azucenas we offer excellent, comfortable accommodation within walking distance of the beach. These apartments are modern, functional and specially equipped for Longstay. They feature open-plan layouts with spacious kitchens and living areas combined. The kitchens are fully equipped with hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine.
Each apartment has high-speed internet connection plus central heating and air conditioning for optimal comfort. Our accommodation here includes both one and two-bedroom options, with the possibility of a terrace.
The properties at Los Azucenas are spread across three storeys, with ground-floor apartments featuring their own small gardens. The second floor has apartments with balconies, and the third floor offers apartments with both balconies and terraces. All floors have both one and two-bedroom apartments (most of the two-bedroom ones also have two bathrooms). All buildings at Los Azucenas have elevators and underground parking is available free of charge.
Los Azucenas has several year-round pools, though these are not heated during the winter months. Down in the sister complex Mar de Pulpí there is a small centre with a grocery shop, a gym and several restaurants open year-round, with the exception of some during the low season in December and January.
Just 3 minutes away lies the nearest village, San Juan de los Terreros, a charming former fishing village with a selection of restaurants and grocery shops. A further ten minutes away you'll find the town of Aguilas, renowned for its outstanding gastronomy. In the old town centre there is a wealth of tapas bars, fish restaurants and cafés to explore and enjoy.
Almería is one of Europe's driest places, with only 300 mm of rainfall per year. This creates perfect weather for winter Longstay, with 325 days of sunshine annually and an average temperature of 18.4 degrees.
We arrange your rental car for collection and return at Alicante airport.
There are daily flights to Alicante from Scandinavia. The drive from the airport to your accommodation takes approximately 2 hours on the excellent motorway.
Our unique golf package gives you your choice of play on five golf courses with varying character, length and feel along this beautiful part of Spain.
Booking your own tee times is done via our the guest portal, email, telephone and/or at the courses/clubs. In our the guest portal you'll find pre-booked tee times reserved for PT Golf guests, which gives variety and play alongside both new and old friends. Competition entry is made in the the guest portal where you can pre-book up to 10 rounds of golf (your own play and competitions) from home, with the remaining rounds booked on site on a 'play one, book one' basis.
Upon arrival you'll receive all information regarding golf play from our golf host on site.

Mar de Pulpí
Mar de Pulpí is located at San Juan de los Terreros, at the eastern edge of Almería – an area with over 3,000 hours of sunshine a year and Spain's lowest rainfall. The apartments are just a stone's throw from the beach, with the fishing town of Águilas and the white village of Mojácar within easy reach.
For golf, the area offers variety: the rolling Aguilón Golf with sea views, Europe's only desert golf course Desert Springs, Valle del Este, Marina Golf Mojácar and Campo Sol. The nature reserve Cabo de Gata and Mojácar Pueblo are natural excursions.
The area is newly built and thoughtfully designed, with pools, padel courts and promenades along the sea – and San Juan de los Terreros' small beach promenade with restaurants within walking distance. Winter sun is nearly guaranteed, and the contrast between Desert Springs' desert landscape and Aguilón's sea views makes your golf week wonderfully varied.
