Quinta do Morgado, situated on the outskirts of Tavira on the sunny Algarve coast, offers a perfect blend of comfort and natural beauty. Our spacious and bright apartments are just a 20-minute walk from Tavira's historic town centre and beautiful beaches. With peaceful surroundings, lush gardens and a relaxed atmosphere, Quinta do Morgado is the ideal choice for both shortstays and longstays.
It was here at Quinta do Morgado that PT Golf's journey began. Since 2008 we have welcomed guests to this charming property, and it remains the heart of our business. Our service office is also based here, which makes your stay even smoother – particularly for first-time visitors.
Quinta do Morgado features two large outdoor pools (though not heated during winter), a restaurant serving both local and international cuisine, and the popular bar 'Burken' with a pleasant outdoor terrace. Right next to the property there is also the well-stocked Mini Preço supermarket, with a traditional meat and fish counter plus bakery.
Quinta do Morgado is excellently located for exploring Tavira and the surrounding areas. You can reach the town's charming old quarter on a pleasant 20-minute walk, and a short boat trip takes you to the wonderful Ilha de Tavira, famous for its white sandy beaches and crystal-clear waters.
Our apartments, with 1 or 2 bedrooms, are designed to give you a comfortable stay with everything you need. Some apartments have terraces with direct access to the pool area. The property is regularly renovated to maintain good standards, and this is done with care to preserve its welcoming atmosphere.
Our guests appreciate the warm and personal service from the Quinta do Morgado team, as well as the well-maintained gardens, green surroundings and generous balconies and terraces, which allow you to enjoy both peace and wonderful views.

SOLO GOLFERS:
For solo travellers we offer accommodation in your own apartment at a very attractive price. The apartment has 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, living room and a well-equipped kitchen for self-catering. Each season we welcome a large number of single travellers to Morgado, which creates plenty of opportunities to make new contacts and golfing friends. Our solo golfers are of course warmly welcome to take part in our competitions and are drawn to play with both new and established friends.
To our 'home course' Benamor – where we have daily tee times, weekly competitions and great company at the 19th – it's just 5 minutes away. The wonderful twin courses Quinta da Ria and Quinta da Cima are 10 minutes away. Within half an hour you'll also reach the challenging gem Quinta do Vale and the rolling, scenic Castro Marim near the border. On the other side of the bridge across the border river Guadiana are our Spanish courses Isla Canela Old Course, Isla Canela Links, El Rompido and more – all within an hour's drive from Cabanas.
With us you'll find the market's by far widest and best golf packages featuring top-quality golf courses for all skill levels and tastes. Long and challenging or shorter and more technical. Flat and easy-walking or hilly and breathtaking. Play just one or a few courses, or try a new course every day. The possibilities are almost endless!
Booking tee times for your own play is primarily done via our the guest portal (or app), where a core selection of tee times is reserved for our guests. You can also book tee times by email, phone or directly on the courses. Entries to our competitions are always made via the guest portal or app. You can book up to 10 rounds – both your own play and competitions – before arrival, with remaining rounds booked on site following the 'play one, book one' principle. the guest portal is shared by all our guests in the area, which gives you the chance to play different courses and enjoy great company with both new and familiar golfing friends.
Upon arrival you'll be welcomed by our golf host who will give you your vouchers for your golf package. Welcome!

Accommodation details
East Algarve
East Algarve, from Faro to the Spanish border, is the stretch of coast that has retained most of its original character. Tavira is one of Portugal's most beautiful small towns, with its churches, Roman bridge and excellent range of restaurants. Beyond lies Ria Formosa, a lagoon landscape with islands and long sandy beaches reached by small ferries. Golf is played on courses such as Benamor, Quinta da Ria, Quinta de Cima, Castro Marim and Monte Rei.
You'll find life quieter here than in the west: Cabanas and Tavira's island beaches are reached by small ferries, the market hall displays the day's catch, and evenings are peaceful. Monte Rei – often ranked as Portugal's finest course – is the highlight for many visitors, and if you fancy a change of scenery, Spanish Ayamonte is just a short drive away across the Guadiana bridge. Winter is mild and tranquil, with empty beaches and plenty of tee times.
