The regular guest favorite Cabanas Garden is located like an oasis in the eastern part of Cabanas, just a few minutes walk from the pleasant and lively beach promenade. The village's selection of restaurants and shops is within a short walk. Shop for fresh and locally grown produce in the small market hall. Visit the local butcher, baker and fishmonger in less than 10 minutes' walk.
At Cabanas Garden you live in new, modern apartments fully equipped for self-catering, organized around the nice pool area as your own little 'village'. The apartments at Cabanas Garden consist mainly of apartments with 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom - some on one level and some as a duplex with the bedroom upstairs. There is also a very limited number of apartments with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, of which a couple are of the penthouse type with a roof terrace - these are offered subject to availability.
'Across the street' we have a few apartments (with 2 bedrooms & 2 bathrooms) at the new, fresh accommodation Formosa Bay. This is just a stone's throw from Cabanas Garden but lacks its own pool.
The village of Cabanas has over the past decade - from being a quiet and peaceful fishing village with the local fishermen as the most striking feature - grown into one of the most genuine and emblematic places in the eastern Algarve, where visitors and tourists are happy to return again and again. Despite this, Cabanas is still a small and charming village that cherishes its history, and along the promenade on the edge of the Ria Formosa there is a large selection of nice restaurants with fresh fish, good meat dishes and a wonderful atmosphere. During the season, a number of PT Golf's mingle and restaurant evenings with good food and nice entertainment are organized here.
From Cabanas you are 'close to everything'. It is barely 10 minutes by car to cozy, historic Tavira and about half an hour to Spain. The coastline from Cabanas eastwards towards the Spanish border is a long line of fantastic sandy beaches, all of which are easily accessible by car via the N-125 coastal road. The A22 motorway – Via de Infante – can be easily reached via Tavira or Monte Gordo for trips along the Algarve coast and into Spain.
In Cabanas, golf really is just around the corner. The ‘home club’ Benamor – where we have daily tee times, weekly competitions and wonderful socialising on the 19th – is just 5 minutes away. The fantastic twin courses Quinta da Ría and Quinta da Cima can be reached in 10 minutes. Within half an hour you can also reach the challenging gem Quinta do Vale and the undulating scenic Castro Marim near the border. On the other side of the bridge over the border river Guadiana are our Spanish courses Isla Canela Old Course, Isla Canela Links, El Rompido and more – all within an hour’s drive of Cabanas.

Booking times for your own game is primarily done via our Guest Portal (or app), where a basic range of starting times is reserved for our guests. It is also possible to book times via email, telephone or directly on site at the courses. Registration for our competitions is always done in the Guest Portal or app. You can book up to 10 rounds - both your own game and competitions - before arrival, while the remaining rounds are booked on site according to the principle "play one, book one". The Guest Portal is shared by all our guests in the area, which provides the opportunity for varied games and pleasant fellowship with both new and well-known golf friends.
