Welcome to Playa Sancti Petri Village, our hand-picked accommodation in south-west Spain. Our two-bedroom, one-bathroom apartments offer comfortable accommodation with an ideal location for golfers, life-lovers and beach enthusiasts alike. The kitchen is well-equipped with a hand blender, juicer, Airfryer, frying pans and saucepans in various sizes. With just a five-minute drive to the renowned 36-hole Real Novo Sancti Petri and close to golf courses such as Sancti Petri Hills Golf, La Estancia Golf and Villanueva Golf, this is a golfer's dream. The courses are easily accessible, walkable and offer varying challenges in beautiful surroundings.

Playa Sancti Petri Village is close to everything you need. Within walking distance of the well-known La Barossa beach, said to be one of Spain's finest beaches, thanks to the opportunity for long beach walks, its soft sand, pleasant water temperature and its gently sloping bathing area. There are numerous tapas bars, fish restaurants and cafés here, and the sunsets are spectacular, often captured on film by artists. Just a stone's throw from the beach lies Sancti Petri's main street, where there is a wide choice of tapas bars, restaurants, ice cream bars and cafés – take your pick.

The nearby Spanish village of Chiclana, with its 84,000 inhabitants, is a traditional Andalusian town with small squares and alleyways. There are plenty of charming spots here to enjoy locally produced food. Chiclana is also famous for its wines, with a number of bodegas to discover.

To Cádiz, the historic city on Andalusia's Atlantic coast, is about thirty kilometres away. The city is Europe's oldest continuously inhabited city. Cádiz's picturesque cobbled streets, stone buildings and historic heritage make it an obvious excursion destination. Founded around 1100 BC, this is one of the world's oldest seafaring cities, and it was also from Cádiz harbour that Columbus began his voyage to America. Today, Cádiz has around 120,000 inhabitants (with suburbs, 650,000).

The old fishing village of Conil de la Frontera is about 25 minutes' drive from our new accommodation. In recent years, Conil has become an increasingly popular destination, whilst managing to retain its authentic Spanish village character.

Don't miss a visit to Jerez de la Frontera, the birthplace of sherry – join a sherry tasting, visit the old town and experience a 'horse show' at the Royal Riding School.

We book your rental car for pick-up and return at Málaga airport. The drive to Playa Sancti Petri is a natural experience and takes 2½ hours along the Mediterranean coast southbound towards Algeciras and then through the Los Alcornocales national park to Costa de la Luz. The slightly winding and scenic inland route through Andalusia's rolling countryside takes about 3 hours and tempts with pleasant coffee or lunch stops in one of the many authentic villages along this route. A little longer to drive from the airport perhaps, but a wonderful natural experience in itself. Of course, the rental car can also be booked for pick-up and return at Faro airport if you prefer – driving time approximately 3½ hours on good motorway.

Our unique golf package West Spain – Cádiz gives you optional play on eleven golf courses with varying character, length and feel along this beautiful part of Costa de la Luz. It's just a 5-minute drive to the 36-hole Club de Golf Novo Sancti Petri, and about 15 minutes by car to Sancti Petri Hills Golf, La Estancia Golf and Campano Golf.

Tee time booking for your own play is done via email, telephone and/or by visiting the courses/clubs and in the guest portal, where pre-booked tee times are reserved for PT Golf's guests, giving you variety and the chance to play with both new and old friends. Competition entries are made in the guest portal, where you can pre-book up to 10 rounds of golf (your own play and competitions) from home, with the remainder booked on site on a 'play one, book one' basis.
