Novo Sancti Petri Apartments, Chiclana
Novo Sancti Petri Apartments – beachside in Chiclana!
A simple and charming 'mini resort' in the heart of the restaurant street!
This family-run and well-maintained little resort sits at the heart of Sancti Petri, just 150 metres from the wonderful sandy beach of La Barrosa. The apartments here are small, friendly and cosily arranged around the little saltwater pool. Most apartments have 1 bedroom, but there are also a small number with 2 bedrooms and several studios.
The apartments' great strength is the balcony/terrace – half face west whilst the others overlook the courtyard. The kitchen is compact and equipped with an under-counter fridge with freezer compartment and a portable oven. These apartments are ideal for a Shortstay!
Within a couple of minutes' walk you reach the vast sandy beach with views out over the Atlantic to the west. The accommodation sits perfectly on Sancti Petri's main street with tapas bars, restaurants and cafés. La Barrosa beach is said to be one of the finest in the world, thanks to its length, soft sand, pleasant water temperature, gently shelving nature and stunning light.
To Cádiz, the 'big city' on Andalusia's Atlantic coast, is roughly thirty miles away. Cádiz's picturesque cobbled streets, stone buildings and historical heritage make it an obvious destination for a day out. Founded around 1100 BC, it is one of the world's oldest seafaring cities, and it was from Cádiz harbour that Columbus set out on his voyage to America. The Cádiz region is absolutely teeming with vineyards, nature reserves, magnificent beaches and other wonderful attractions to explore on your own or with new and old friends.
We book your rental car for collection and return at Málaga airport. The drive to Sancti Petri is a treat for the senses and takes about 2½ hours along the Mediterranean coast heading south towards Algeciras and then through the Los Alcornocales national park over to Costa de la Luz. The slightly windier and more scenic inland route through Andalusia's rolling landscape takes about 3 hours and offers the chance for pleasant coffee or lunch stops in one of the many authentic villages along this route. It may be a bit longer to drive from the airport, but it's a wonderful experience in itself. Of course, the rental car can also be booked for collection and return at Faro airport if you wish – driving time around 3½ hours on a good motorway.
Our unique golf package Western Spain – Cádiz gives you a choice of play at eleven golf courses with varying character, length and feel along this beautiful stretch of Costa de la Luz. Club de Golf Novo Sancti Petri, a 36-hole complex, is just a 5-minute drive away, and Sancti Petri Hills Golf, La Estancia Golf and Campano Golf are around 15 minutes' drive.
Booking your own tee times is done by email, phone and/or visiting the courses/clubs and in Guestportalen where pre-booked times are reserved for PT Golf's guests, giving you variety and the chance to play with both new and old friends. Competition entries are made in Guestportalen where you can pre-book up to 10 rounds of golf (your own play and competitions) from home, with the remaining rounds booked on arrival on a 'play one, book one' basis.

Accommodation details
Novo Sancti Petri
Novo Sancti Petri near Chiclana de la Frontera is a peaceful, planned holiday resort right on La Barrosa – an eight-kilometre sandy beach considered one of Spain's finest. The area is built around golf: Novo Sancti Petri Golf (36 holes, Severiano Ballesteros) and Sancti Petri Hills lie within the resort, with tree-lined walks connecting your accommodation, the beach and restaurants.
Chiclana's town centre is ten minutes away, the historic city of Cádiz half an hour, and to the south lie the charming white villages of Conil, Vejer de la Frontera and Costa de la Luz. Fly into Jerez or Seville.
The resort is designed so everything works without a car: cycle paths and tree-lined walks through the pine forest, beachfront restaurants and the golf office just around the corner. Winter brings mild days around 18–20 degrees – perfect golfing weather – and La Barrosa is then almost empty as far as the eye can see.
