The complex offers lovely apartments with two bedrooms, well-equipped kitchens, air conditioning, fast Wi-Fi and a private terrace or balcony – many with sea views. There's a large shared pool nestled in landscaped gardens and free parking right by the accommodation. Within a six-minute walk you'll find a small shopping centre with restaurants, a few shops and a popular breakfast café where you can enjoy a proper English breakfast if you fancy one. La Cala is a former fishing village that has grown into a vibrant coastal town with Andalusian charm. Despite its popularity with overseas visitors, the resort has retained its genuine character. You'll find everything here, from tapas bars and wine shops to modern cafés, food shops, pharmacies and small boutiques. There's also a popular market twice a week. One of the highlights is the beachfront promenade, which stretches for kilometres in both directions – perfect for morning walks or a coffee with a sea view.

From Torrenueva Park, you're close to some of Costa del Sol's most accessible and appreciated golf courses – all within 5–15 minutes' drive. Mijas Golf is a well-known golf complex with two 18-hole courses, Los Lagos and Los Olivos, both designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr. You'll play on generous fairways with variety and quality at the forefront. Alhaurin Golf is unique in the area as an 18-hole course – a challenging and beautifully natural course that winds through pine forest. Lauro Golf is a charming and easy-going 27-hole course. Suitable for both the moderate golfer and the more experienced player who enjoys technical challenges. Cerrado del Águila Golf is a shorter but modern 9-hole course in excellent condition – perfect for a relaxed round in beautiful surroundings, with the option to play 18 holes by doing two loops.

La Cala is not just a welcoming coastal resort with beach-side promenades, golf courses and a wide range of restaurants – it's also a perfect base for discovering more of what Andalusia has to offer. With its location between Málaga and Marbella, you're close to culture, nature and history. You can reach Málaga in just 30 minutes, a city that successfully combines beach life with big-city buzz. Here you can stroll along the modern harbour promenade Muelle Uno, experience art at the Picasso Museum or settle down with a tapa in one of the many bars in the old town. Just 15 minutes inland lies the picturesque white village of Mijas Pueblo, where narrow cobbled streets, flower-adorned houses and fantastic views over the coast offer a truly special charm. It's easy to lose track of time here among the small shops and local cafés. If you fancy a slightly longer day trip, Ronda is a spectacular option. The historic town sits high with its dramatic ravine and iconic bridge El Tajo dividing the town in two. The journey itself is beautiful, and once there you'll discover history, stunning architecture and views you won't soon forget.

From Málaga airport, it's just about 25 minutes' drive to Torrenueva Park. The fast and well-signposted coastal road A-7 makes it easy to get around, whether you're heading to Marbella for a day trip or to catch your flight home.

Booking tee times for your own play is primarily done via our the guest portal (or app), where a basic selection of tee times is reserved for our guests. You can also book tee times via email, telephone or directly at the golf courses. Entry to our competitions is always made via the guest portal or app. You can book up to 10 rounds – both your own play and competitions – before arrival, whilst remaining rounds are booked on site following the principle of "play one, book one". the guest portal is shared by all our guests in the area, which gives you the opportunity for varied play and enjoyable camaraderie with both new and familiar golfing friends.
