Seixal Harbour Apartments
Exciting news on the south side of Lisbon!
Welcome to Seixal Harbour, beautifully situated by the waterfront in Seixal on the south bank of the River Tejo. The hotel opened in 2026 in the old Mundet cork factory – a piece of Portuguese industrial heritage transformed into an elegant accommodation where brick, high ceilings and large windows meet modern design. It's just 30–35 minutes from Lisbon airport via motorway across the impressive Vasco da Gama Bridge.
Accommodation
You'll stay in stylish apartments with one bedroom and a view few accommodations can match: the River Tejo in front of you and Lisbon's skyline across the water, especially beautiful when the city lights up at dusk. The apartments are designed for longer stays with compact kitchens, spacious living areas and a balcony. Reception is available 24 hours a day.
After a day on the course, the rooftop pool and bar await – perfect for a drink as the sun sets over the capital. If you'd like to keep active, there's a gym and sauna in the building, and the hotel's restaurant serves both breakfast and dinner for evenings when you'd rather stay in.
Seixal
Seixal is a peaceful little harbour town that moves to a different rhythm from the metropolis opposite. Along the waterfront, fish and meat restaurants sit side by side, fishing boats come in at dawn, and an evening stroll along the river is balm for the soul. A few minutes away stands the old tidal mill that has been grinding since the 1400s, and Saturday's market brings the whole village together. Here you get the calm of everyday life with Lisbon within arm's reach.
Lisbon and excursions
The location is strategic for both golf and city life. With the catamaran ferry from Seixal, you're in central Lisbon in 20 minutes – without parking worries – and on a rest day, the whole capital opens up to you: tram 28 through the lanes of Alfama, pastéis de nata in Belém, the view from São Jorge Castle or the spectacular Oceanário de Lisboa aquarium. Wander along the small side streets where local restaurants serve fantastic food at good prices. To the south, Costa da Caparicas's long sandy beaches and Arrábida Natural Park with Sesimbra and Setúbal beckoning – both within just under an hour.
Golf
With Seixal Harbour as your base, you have some of Portugal's most renowned golf courses within easy reach: Aroeira Pines and Aroeira Challenge, often called Lisbon's answer to Wentworth; the challenging Montado Golf with its famous 18th hole surrounded by water; and Quinta do Peru – a world-class parkland course that consistently ranks among the country's best. Santo Estêvão inland and Troia on the peninsula south of Setúbal complete the package.
By choosing Seixal Harbour, you combine big-city energy with riverside tranquillity and golf at the very highest level.
PT Golf has the market's by far broadest and best selection of golf packages in the Lisbon area, with top-quality golf courses for all playing levels and tastes.
Please note that playing Troia involves travelling through Setúbal and taking a ferry to the peninsula – allow approximately 1½ hours' travel from Seixal Harbour.
On arrival, you'll be welcomed by our golf host who will hand over your vouchers for your golf package. Welcome!

Lisbon
About 25 kilometres west of Lisbon lies Estoril, this classic and elegant little resort at the mouth of the Tagus river. Often called the "coast of sun" or "the Portuguese Riviera", Estoril (and neighbouring Cascais) was where Europe's rich, famous and even royal figures sought refuge during the Second World War when Portugal was safe and neutral. Grand hotels and Europe's largest casino were built to welcome them, and it was here that Ian Fleming got the idea for James Bond.
South of the river, in Seixal and Alcochete, you live peacefully and close to nature – with quick access to the capital's culture, restaurants and local life.
The golf courses are nestled in the pine forests south of the Tagus – peaceful, classic courses without crowding. On your rest day, you take the bridge or ferry into Lisbon: tram 28 through Alfama, pastéis de nata in Belém and the view from São Jorge castle. Sintra with its fairytale palaces and Cascais seafront promenade are within an hour, and the winter months offer clear, mild days that are perfect for both golf and city walks.
