Excellent value accommodation in modern apartments with golf right on your doorstep at Playa Granada in southern Spain!

After several conversations and lengthy negotiations, we've now secured a golf and accommodation agreement with Los Moriscos golf facility at Playa Granada, located approximately one hour's drive east of Málaga airport.

At Los Moriscos we offer accommodation in newly built, modern apartments. They are spacious, bright and furnished in Nordic style. The kitchens are well equipped with a cooker (4 rings), oven, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. Each apartment has a large television in all rooms, dining area, sofa and practical outdoor furniture. Central heating/air conditioning is included, as well as ceiling fans should the heat become too much. We have several different apartment types, but in all of them you'll enjoy views over our home golf course which winds around the area.

Los Moriscos Golf Club offers magnificent views over the Mediterranean and the Sierra Nevada. The course is known for its wide fairways and flat terrain, making it accessible for players of all levels whilst still providing a challenge with varied holes that require you to use every club in the bag. We particularly appreciate the fast-running greens, the beautiful surroundings and the friendly staff.

From Los Moriscos you're close to both the Mediterranean and the towns of Salobreña and La Caleta, just a six-minute drive away. Salobreña is a charming coastal town with a medieval castle perched on a cliff and whitewashed houses cascading down the mountainside. Here you'll find genuine Andalusian atmosphere, plus everything you need – pharmacy, large and small food shops, a market hall, hairdresser and health centre. Beside Salobreña lies La Caleta, a small town with origins as a fishing village. The authentic small-town charm is still preserved here, creating a perfect blend of history, culture and relaxing beach life alongside Salobreña.

Los Moriscos is also an excellent base for excursions to, amongst others, the world-famous Alhambra palace in Granada. Why not combine this with a round at Granada Golf Club, located 730 metres above sea level with the snow-capped peaks of the Sierra Nevada in the background? Another tip is the mountainous region of Las Alpujarras on the southern slopes of the Sierra Nevada, with picturesque villages such as Pampaneira, Bubión and Capileira. Here you'll discover local crafts, stunning views and wonderful walking trails.

We recommend Los Moriscos primarily if you're seeking a peaceful environment away from the main tourist crowds and want to arrange your after-golf activities at your own pace. The accommodation is also perfect for families. Golf clubs are stored at the Los Moriscos clubhouse, where you can also hire buggies. The 19th hole is found at Los Moriscos restaurant by the beach, but many golfers also gather at Swing Plaza at the end of the 18th hole.

Your rental car is collected and returned at Málaga airport. The drive from the airport to Los Moriscos takes approximately one hour.

Our local assistant will meet you on arrival, provide your green fee vouchers and help with all practical information. You can easily book tee times for your own rounds by email, telephone, directly at the golf club or through the guest portal where we have reserved tee times for PT Golf guests. This gives you the opportunity for both variety and social play with friends old and new.
