This charming, recently restored apartment hotel is centrally located in Cabanas, within easy walking distance of the village centre where you'll find all the restaurants, shops and welcoming cafés.
Pedras da Rainha is a complete resort with 24-hour reception, a restaurant and its own small shop on the grounds. Pedras is also known for its excellent sports facilities, which include tennis and padel courts.
There is also a bowls green, used by local residents in Cabanas.
Pedras da Rainha offers Mediterranean-style accommodation in apartments and villas. Most have recently undergone complete refurbishment and are modernised to an excellent standard for your Shortstay or Longstay stay.
The apartments have one bedroom and a large terrace, while the villas have two bedrooms with their own small garden.
From Cabanas, everything is 'just around the corner'. The charming historic town of Tavira is just a 10-minute drive away, and Spain is about half an hour's drive. The coastline stretching east from Cabanas towards the Spanish border is a long stretch of fantastic sandy beaches, all easily reached by car via the N-125 coastal road. The A22 motorway – Via de Infante – is easily accessible via Tavira or Monte Gordo for trips along the Algarve coast and into Spain.
In Cabanas, you really do have golf on your doorstep. To 'your home club' Benamor – where we have daily tee times, weekly competitions and great social gatherings at the 19th – is just 5 minutes away. The fantastic twin courses Quinta da Ría and Quinta de Cima are just 10 minutes away. Within half an hour you'll also reach the challenging gem Quinta do Vale and the rolling, beautifully natural Castro Marim near the border. On the other side of the bridge over the Guadiana border river, you'll find our Spanish courses Isla Canela Old Course, Isla Canela Links, El Rompido and more – all within an hour's drive from Cabanas.
With us, you'll enjoy the market's finest and most extensive golf packages with excellent golf courses for all skill levels and preferences. Long and challenging or shorter and more technical. Booking tee times for your own play is done primarily through our the guest portal (or app), where a selection of tee times is reserved for our guests. You're also welcome to book tee times via email, telephone or directly at the courses. Entry to our competitions is always made through the guest portal or the app. You can book up to 10 rounds – both your own play and competitions – before arrival, while remaining rounds are booked on site on a 'play one, book one' basis. the guest portal is shared by all our guests in the area, which provides the opportunity for varied play and pleasant socialising with both new and familiar golfing friends.
On arrival, you'll be welcomed by our golf host, who will give you your vouchers for your golf package. Welcome!

East Algarve
East Algarve, from Faro to the Spanish border, is the stretch of coast that has retained most of its original character. Tavira is one of Portugal's most beautiful small towns, with its churches, Roman bridge and excellent range of restaurants. Beyond lies Ria Formosa, a lagoon landscape with islands and long sandy beaches reached by small ferries. Golf is played on courses such as Benamor, Quinta da Ria, Quinta de Cima, Castro Marim and Monte Rei.
You'll find life quieter here than in the west: Cabanas and Tavira's island beaches are reached by small ferries, the market hall displays the day's catch, and evenings are peaceful. Monte Rei – often ranked as Portugal's finest course – is the highlight for many visitors, and if you fancy a change of scenery, Spanish Ayamonte is just a short drive away across the Guadiana bridge. Winter is mild and tranquil, with empty beaches and plenty of tee times.
