This nice accommodation is located in the middle of Tavira's center with its white buildings and nice little alleys. Within walking distance is the new and old town of Tavira with its cozy shops, restaurants and cafes. The city is one of the Algarve's most talked about and popular destinations that charms its visitors with its pleasant calm and pleasant people life all year round.
The apartments at Tavira Downtown - note, limited number - have a very high standard and are located around a nice and quiet pool area. The apartments have 2 bedrooms and 1 or 2 bathrooms, large living room and fully equipped kitchen. All apartments have a loft entrance and all apartments have good Wi-Fi and international TV channels. Parking is available in the garage under the building.
Tavira's fantastic market hall is a couple of minutes' walk away, with freshly caught fish, local butchers and locally grown fruit & vegetables. The promenade along the river is very nice and lined with small cafes and restaurants for all tastes. Enjoy a drink of your choice along the riverside and watch the Gilão River – which flows into the Atlantic Ocean here – rise and fall with the tide.
On the third Saturday of the month, the town’s market takes place, where you can see and buy everything from live birds of prey to local crafts and, of course, knick-knacks. Don’t miss this event, and especially don’t miss the charcoal-grilled chicken served with salad and wine at the temporary stands set up in the market square. An experience!
In Tavira, golf really is just around the corner. The ‘home club’ Benamor – where we have daily tee times, weekly competitions and great socialising on the 19th – is just 10 minutes away. The fantastic twin courses Quinta da Ría and Quinta da Cima are a further 5 minutes away. Within half an hour, you can also be at the challenging gem Quinta do Vale and the undulating scenic Castro Marim near the border. On the other side of the bridge over the Guadiana river are our Spanish courses Isla Canela Old Course, Isla Canela Links, El Rompido and more – all within an hour's drive from Cabanas.

Booking times for your own game is primarily done via our Guest Portal (or app), where a basic range of starting times is reserved for our guests. It is also possible to book times via email, telephone or directly on site at the courses. Registration for our competitions is always done in the Guest Portal or app. You can book up to 10 rounds – both your own game and competitions – before arrival, while the remaining rounds are booked on site according to the principle “play one, book one”. The guest portal is shared by all our guests in the area, which provides the opportunity for varied games and pleasant fellowship with both new and familiar golf friends.
