Affordable and pleasant accommodation in modern apartments with golf just around the corner at Playa Granada in southern Spain!
PT Golf has signed an agreement for golf and accommodation with Los Moriscos golf resort at Playa Granada, located just over an hour's drive east of Malaga airport.
At Los Moriscos we offer accommodation in newly built, modern apartments. They are spacious, bright and have a Nordic-style interior. The kitchens are well-equipped with a stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. Each apartment has a large TV in all rooms, a dining area, sofa and practical outdoor furniture. There is central heating/air conditioning and ceiling fans if the heat gets too intrusive. We have several different apartment types, but in all of them you live with a view of our home course that winds around the area.
Los Moriscos Golf Club offers a fantastic view of the Mediterranean Sea and the snow-capped peaks of the Sierra Nevada. The course is known for its wide fairways and flat terrain, which makes it accessible to players of all levels while also being a challenge with varying holes that require the use of all clubs. Here we particularly appreciate the fast-playing greens, the beautiful surroundings and the friendly staff. The course is very well maintained and irrigated with freshwater from underwater springs thanks to the proximity of the Sierra Nevada and its meltwater. Now in the spring of 2026, all bunkers were supplied with new sand.
A push cart is included in the green fee. An electric cart and buggy can be rented at reasonable prices: 15 eur and 32 eur respectively (season 2026). Golf clubs can be stored in the Los Moriscos clubhouse.
The “19th hole” can be found at the Los Moriscos restaurant on the beach, but many golfers also gather at the small Swing Plaza café at the end of the 18th hole.
From Los Moriscos you are close to both the Mediterranean Sea and the towns of Salobreña and La Caleta, just a few minutes' drive away.
Salobreña is a charming coastal town with a medieval castle perched on a cliff. The castle dates back to the 10th century and served as a royal palace and later as a prison during the Nasrid dynasty. From here you have a fantastic view of the sea, the mountains and the town with its whitewashed houses that climb the hillside. Here you will find a genuine Andalusian atmosphere and everything you need in the form of pharmacies, large and small supermarkets, a market hall, hairdressers, various small shops and a health centre.
Next to Salobreña is La Caleta, originally a fishing village. Here the small-town charm is well preserved, creating a perfect mix of history, culture and relaxing beach life. Flamenco shows are held every week in several of the many restaurants.
Los Moriscos is an excellent starting point for excursions to, among other places, the world-famous Alhambra palace in Granada. Why not combine it with a round at Granada Golf Club, located 730 meters above sea level with the Sierra Nevada in the background? Another tip is the Las Alpujarras mountain area on the southern slopes of the Sierra Nevada, with picturesque villages such as Pampaneira, Bubión and Capileira. Here you will encounter local crafts, fantastic views and nice hiking trails.
We recommend Los Moriscos primarily for those looking for a quiet environment away from the main tourist crowds and who want to take care of your after-golf activities on your own. The accommodation is also perfect for families.
Your rental car will be picked up and dropped off at Malaga airport. The drive from the airport to Los Moriscos takes just over an hour.
Our local team will meet you upon arrival, provide you with game vouchers and help with all practical information. Tee times for your own rounds can be easily booked via email, phone, directly at the golf club or in our Guest Portal where we have reserved tee times for PT Golf guests. This provides the opportunity for both variety and social play with new and old golf friends.
