Our two-bedroom, one-bathroom apartments are a pleasant accommodation with an ideal location for golfers, life-lovers and beach lovers alike. The kitchen is well-equipped with, among other things, a hand blender, juicer, Airfryer and frying pans and saucepans in several sizes. With just a five-minute drive to the famous 36-hole Real Novo Sancti Petri course and a short distance to courses such as Sancti Petri Hills Golf, La Estancia Golf and Villanueva Golf, this is a golfer's dream. The courses are easily accessible, walkable and offer varying challenges in beautiful settings.
Playa Sancti Petri Village is close to everything. Walking distance to the well-known La Barossa beach, which is said to be one of the finest beaches in Spain, thanks to the possibility of long beach walks, its soft sand, pleasant water temperature and its shallow swimming beach. There are a number of tapas bars, fish restaurants and cafes here and the sunsets are spectacular, often captured in pictures by artists. A stone's throw from the beach is Sancti Petri's main street where the selection of tapas bars, restaurants, ice cream parlors and cafes is wide, just choose.
The nearby Spanish village of Chiclana with its 84,000 inhabitants is a traditional Andalusian town with small squares and alleys. There are plenty of cozy places to enjoy the locally produced food here. Chiclana is also famous for its wines with a number of bodegas to discover.
It is about twenty kilometers to Cádiz, the historic city on Andalusia's Atlantic coast. The city is the oldest in Europe to have been continuously inhabited. Cádiz's picturesque cobblestone streets, stone buildings and historical heritage make it an obvious excursion destination. Founded around 1100 BC, this is one of the world's oldest maritime cities, and it was also from the port of Cadiz that Columbus began his journey to America. Today, Cadiz has about 120,000 inhabitants (with suburbs 650,000).
The old fishing village of Conil de la Frontera is about 25 minutes by car from our new accommodation. In recent years, Conil has become an increasingly popular destination, while managing to retain the authentic Spanish village feel.
Don't miss a visit to Jerez de la Frontera, the origin of sherry, join a sherry tasting, visit the old town and experience a "horse show" at the Royal Riding School.
We book your rental car for collection and return at Malaga airport. The drive to Playa Sancti Petri is a nature experience and takes 2½ hours along the Mediterranean coast south down to Algeciras and then through the Los Alcornocales National Park over to the Costa de la Luz. The slightly more winding and scenic inland road through Andalusia's hilly landscape takes about 3 hours and tempts with pleasant coffee or food stops in one of the many authentic villages along this route. A little longer to drive from the airport perhaps, but a wonderful nature experience in itself. Of course, the rental car can also be booked for collection and return at Faro airport if desired - driving time about 3½ hours on a good motorway.
Our unique golf package Western Spain - Cádiz provides optional play on eleven golf courses with varying character, length and feel along this beautiful part of the Costa de la Luz. The 36-hole Club de Golf Novo Sancti Petri is only a 5-minute drive away and Sancti Petri Hills Golf, La Estancia Golf and Campano Golf are about 15 minutes by car.
Booking times for your own game is made via email, telephone and/or visit to the courses/clubs as well as in the Guest Portal where pre-booked times are earmarked for PT Golf's Guests, which provides variety and play together with both new and old friends. Competition registration is made in the Guest Portal where you can pre-book up to 10 rounds (your own game and competitions) from home, while the rest are booked on site according to the principle ‘play one, book one’.
