We are pleased to present our new accommodation option in southwest Spain, in the popular town of Rota and just a short trip to the historic city of Cádiz.
Punta Candor Suites offers an excellent location that combines proximity to both city and nature. The apartments are located just 5 km from Rota's charming town center, where you can enjoy the city's rich culture, local restaurants and cozy shopping streets. In addition, some of the region's most beautiful beaches are within walking distance, including the popular Punta Candor beach - perfect for leisurely walks by the sea. For us golf enthusiasts, Costa Ballena Golf Club, one of the best courses in the area, is only a 10-minute drive away.
The apartments are bright and fully equipped with modern amenities such as a stove, oven in most apartments, a washing machine and a dishwasher. Each apartment has one or two bedrooms and there is a parking garage under the buildings. Here you can enjoy comfortable and independent living with proximity to both the beach and golf.
Living on the outskirts of city life gives you the best of both worlds - you can take part in the pulse of the city at any time, but still have the advantage of living in a quiet and relaxing environment. You have the opportunity to cook your own meals and take care of yourself in a peaceful atmosphere. At the same time, you have quick and easy access to the roads that take you to golf courses and other excursion destinations in the area.
The center of Rota can be easily reached in ten minutes by car. The city is known for its rich gastronomy and offers many nice tapas bars and fish restaurants. During the winter months, Rota is a lively and charming town with cobbled streets, small squares, where you can enjoy a glass of “Sherry fino” and a tapas. Cádiz, is only about 47 km from Rota, a historical gem and Europe’s oldest continuously inhabited city. Here you will find picturesque alleys, impressive stone buildings and fascinating historical sights. Don’t miss a visit to Jerez de la Frontera, the hometown of sherry, where you can participate in sherry tastings, explore the old town and see the famous horse show at the Royal Riding School. The rental car is collected and returned at Málaga airport.
The drive to Rota is a nature experience, taking 2½ hours along the Mediterranean coast south to Algeciras and then through the Los Alcornocales National Park over to the Costa de la Luz. The slightly more winding and scenic Inland Road through Andalusia’s hilly landscape takes about 3 hours and tempts with a nice coffee break in one of the many authentic villages along this route. A little longer to drive from the airport but a wonderful nature experience. The rental car can also be booked for collection and return at Faro airport, the driving time will then be about 4 hours.
With us you have the market's widest and best golf package with 12 high-quality golf courses for all playing levels and tastes. Long and tough or shorter and more technical. Flat and walkable or hilly and breathtaking. Play on just one or a few courses, or try a new course "every day". The possibilities are almost endless!
Booking times for your own game is primarily done via our Guest Portal (or app), where a basic range of starting times is reserved for our guests. It is also possible to book times via email, telephone or directly on site at the courses. Registration for our competitions is always done in the Guest Portal or app. You can book up to 10 rounds – both your own game and competitions – before arrival, while the remaining rounds are booked on site according to the principle “play one, book one”. The guest portal is shared by all our guests in the area, which provides the opportunity for varied games and pleasant fellowship with both new and familiar golf friends.
